Beautiful space for two

  • 5 of 5

Loved our stay for five nights in mid-August! It was a wonderful property, from arrival in the small but secure parking garage to the two-story condo space. The garage is accessible via a code that you must exit your car to input. The garage was very clean & felt very secure. The parking space is literally a few steps from the entrance to the lower courtyard & the steps up to the unit are just inside that entrance. Very easy to get to (if you can climb stairs) & the feel is very private. The complex is very quiet & serene, with water features and lots of succulents/ornamentals to make things lush & relaxing. There were no noise issues even in this busy part of Santa Barbara thanks to the structure of these units. We slept with our windows open every night and enjoyed the fresh Santa Barbara air.

The kitchen is well equipped with tools/cookware for basic meal prep. A nice spice rack is available plus basic salt/pepper mills. There was a small amount of olive oil already in the kitchen as far as cooking fats go. There is a drip coffee maker with a metal perma-filter basket inside plus paper filters available if you choose. There were plenty of plates, bowls, pasta dishes, coffee mugs, drink tumblers, wine glasses, etc for our whole week cooking approximately one meal per day. (We limited water use by placing dirty dishes in the dishwasher for one wash load at the end of our stay so if we had cooked more meals we may have had to run 2 loads.)

The living room is comfortable and well-equipped with local magazines & reference guides, plus a few DVDs near the television. The track door and french doors on the opposite walls of the living area on level one make for great breezes when open. Again, great fresh Santa Barbara air! The bedroom, master bath & laundry/closet upstairs are well-equipped. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bath has a small door inside that opens, again for fresh air flow/ventilation. The shower was stocked with soap/shampoo/conditioner if we had not brought our own. Plenty of towels was a plus. The closet/laundry room was very spacious, with plenty of shelves & hangers for clothing and shoe storage. Laundry soap available near the washer/dryer if needed.

The unit is within walking distance to lots of great Santa Barbara favorites. The gate exit by foot on the Cota street side of the property is very convenient for coming & going by foot. Sunny was so easy to work with! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful place to stay in Santa Barbara. The pictures didn't do this place justice. Beautifully appointed, clean, amazing architecture, close to State Street, covered parking, and thoughtful details. We hope to come back to stay soon!

We loved this condo! Our dog did too! Great spot for everything you want to do in Santa Barbara! When you open the doors - the ocean breeze is so wonderful...bed is totally loaded! It was a great place to celebrate our anniversary!

A gem in Santa Barbara

  • 5 of 5

This development is an architectural gem! Our one bedroom unit was very reasonably priced particularly compared to local hotels which will not have the benefit of a spacious full kitchen, separate downstairs living room and upstairs bedroom. The unit is wonderfully unique which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Great stay

  • 5 of 5

This is in a gorgeous compound walking distance to everything, and only a block from the marvelous Saturday Farmers market (a few more to the farmers market on State St.). Very comfortable, with great outdoor spaces for hanging out. Highly recommended.
