I grew up going to TIP in the summers and now our whole family spends time there. Our very favorite place to be!!
Ginny purchased this house in 1971
My mom and dad and grandma and grandpa always went up there. We love it so much, have been fortunate enough to travel a lot of this gorgeous world but nothing compares to this! You can sit on the porch and watch the ships go by along with viewing a beautiful sunset! Accessible to grocery stores, restaurants, swimming, boating and dock right out front!
This area offers everything from boating, biking,(we have 4 bikes) hiking, kayaking,(we have 2 Kayaks') restaurants, golfing, tennis all within walking distance. A very private point where you can sit on the porch(2 Porches) and see the sunset as well as the ships going by in the channel. The nicest house in the park!
We have stayed in Thousand Islands a couple of times but this place was by far the best. First of all being right on the water like this was great, we have a boat so we fish everyday and with the peer, boathouse and kayaks it was so nice just to go out front and your there!
We had a nice size group with 3 children and the young boys are missing the place already. We all had time to regroup and get back to the important things in life...like family. Sure there were times when things got a little crazy with a large group but everyone in the end wasn't ready to leave yet so that's something I will remember when planning our next vacation.
The house had everything it says it has and everything is taken care of well. It is very important to me that we vacation in a clean place and this house was that and it has a lot of little things that you may have forgotten at home. The owners were available to speak to and happy to assist me in any needs or questions I had.
I would like to come to this house again and maybe stay longer this time!
Our family was in search of great place to relax and enjoy the Thousand Island Region, and we absolutely found the very best place! From the day we booked through our entire stay, this place and the process was easy. It is extremely quiet, peaceful and is the best property in the TIP.
Our kids and family enjoyed it all....from the kayaks to swimming from the dock to relaxing in the hammock to walking around Thousand Island Park....we couldn't have picked a better place. It is conveniently located to Kingston, Clayton, Alex Bay, and the entire area.
Our kids are already asking if we can go back to the same place next year. One of our most memorable and best vacations we've had!
The house had everything we needed and more. The main floor master suite was perfect and the view from the porches were amazing. We had a great time seeing all the places we remembered from our childhood. Thanks for making our "sisters' week" at TIP so memorable.
