About Nita Ettinger, Property Manager

We love Siesta Key Beach and biking on the beach early in the morning. Siesta Key is a great place to escape the cold winters of Minnesota and get out and play a little tennis & golf. We try to come down and enjoy the home and the beach as much as we can, which is never enough.

Nita Ettinger, Property Manager purchased this apartment in 2011

Why Nita Ettinger, Property Manager chose Florida South Central Gulf Coast

We think it is in the best spot on Siesta Key. Easy on and off the Key and the proximity to restaurants, shopping, rentals etc.

What makes this apartment unique

We have a fantastic heated saltwater pool and the of course there is the spectacular white sand beach and Gulf of Mexico, which is just a 5 minute walk from the house - you can’t beat that!

AARP, the group that advocates for retirees, listed Siesta Key beach as the No. 1 beach of 12 to visit in 2015, The beach also was included on a list of the top beach destinations for spring break by Yahoo Travel. Relaxing spot!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the 1 bed/1 bath unit. It was well equipped for our 4 days/3 nights. Spacious enough for two adults but might feel cramped if you have 4 adults. Also, the bathroom access is by walking into the bedroom so as long as all members are comfortable with that arrangement your stay will work out well.

I loved the pool area and you can tell they planned that space well. We did not get neighbors until late Friday night so had the pool to ourselves for about 2 days. Great location, can walk to the Crescent Beach Grocery and quick beach access. We mostly drove to restaurants in the Village when it was time to eat but there is a restaurant at the end of the road the house is on that looked popular.

An Oasis!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here during labor day weekend and I don't think we could have chosen a better spot. For those worrying that the house isn't on the beach, DON'T!! it's literally a 5 minute walk to access point #12 on Crescent Beach. The home is also conveniently located next to some wonderful restaurants. We walked to Clayton's and Toasted Mango which were delicious! The home is well furnished and stocked with every thing you need. The bed in the 1br was fantastic ! We have never slept so well. It also comes with a full cable package for those days you may need to stay inside. It also came with an array of beach chairs, beach towels, pool floats, a cooler, beach carts. The home was clean and well maintained. The 1 br is cozy but large enough for a family of four if you don't mind the 1 bath, but it was perfect for just us two. We were fortunate to have the pool all to ourselves. It was beautiful, and probably my favorite part of my trip. It's a perfect place to cool off from a hot day at the beach. There's several seating areas and a large umbrella to shade a part of the pool if you want. We will definitely be back!

Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This house was exactly what I expected and more! I went with a group of friends that rented the other portion of the house. It was clean with lots of personal touches that made our stay much more enjoyable. The main house has a great living space and kitchen space that allowed all of us to eat together and spend time together. The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed to cook our meals, including can openers, bowls, serving platters, lots of utensils, baking dishes, cookie sheets, muffin tins, etc. There was nothing that we needed in the kitchen that we didn't have. There were even seasonings and spices, coffee and filters - you name it - it was there! There were books, board games, extensive cable channels and movies. Outside at the pool, there were umbrellas, tables, chairs, floats, noodles, lots of toys for kids, etc. The heated, saltwater pool was a nice touch. In the back storage, these owners provided everything we needed for the beach! Towels, chairs, umbrellas, carts, beach toys and even a cooler! Inside was sunblock and aloe care for your use! Outside in the laundry area, there is detergent, etc that makes it so convenient to keep on top of your laundry. There are restaurants within walking distance and a small but efficient market store. Also, the beach is really a fairly easy walk with about 3 blocks to the sand. I will most definitely be returning!

EXCELLENT! Perfect for a group, nice open hangout areas and beach/bars are just a walk.

This house was perfect for our needs. We rented both the main house and attached cottage so that 9 of us could stay together. The main house had a great open living area so that all of us could spend time together. It had everything we needed - the kitchen had everything for cooking/eating and they supplied towels/chairs/umbrellas and a cart to take it all to the beach which was an easy walk (2 small city blocks and then a stretch of beach/sand). There's a market on the way for ice and stuff. At night we planned to take an Uber or free beach taxi (little golf cart that runs for tips) to the main downtown area but we enjoyed the pool so much (gorgeous and clean, pretty little waterfall, nice patio area around it w/ a grill) that we stayed there for a bit then walked the block to a (kind of dive-) bar for karaoke and then next door for late night food. They really do have everything you need to have a great time nearby, without having to drive somewhere. Washer and dryer, enough bathrooms (between the two houses) it was never an issue. Very clean and welcoming place to hang out. We had the best time and would definitely recommend it again. Although note that we did rent both houses so we didn't have to share the pool with anyone (that could have otherwise rented the other unit) so that was a perk for us. Everyone we dealt with was very helpful and accommodating, all around great experience (we went in May and the weather was beautiful).

We will definitely be back!

  • 5 of 5

The beaches in Siesta Key are so beautiful and having such a nice, well kept and clean home to stay in made it such an awesome vacation. We had everything we needed in the home. It was so nice to be able to prepare home cooked meals or to pack a lunch/ snacks and head to the beach. Everything is so close and there is so much to do. Having the pool was a lot of fun for our kids as well. It was very pretty and well maintained. We didn't want to leave, but know that we will definitely be back for another stay.

We loved it!

  • 5 of 5

This is such a great place, it was just like being home. It was clean and had everything to travel a little bit more lite then usual, the kitchen and grill helped out alot. We choose not to have a rental car we rented bikes walked or did free rides. Shops, bars, restaurants, rentals, jet skies, charter serv. and the beach all with in a 5 min walk. My 7 and 11 yr old said this is way better then any place we have stayed at. They loved the pool. Great neighborhood peaceful and quiet. We are 120% satisfied with the service that was provided and would return in a heart beat.
