Book Breck is a local small business aimed at providing private, well maintained, well-appointed and well equipped homes supplied with eco-friendly non-essentials. Our target clientele is families who seek a home-away-from-home experience that is somewhere between the pampering of hotel-service, and the self-reliance of renting directly from a homeowner. Our local staff is knowledgeable on all homes and the community, and is committed to being honest, fair and responsive to guest and homeowner needs, and is dedicated to supporting our local community and the environment.
What a beautiful home in a beautiful place! We enjoyed the great beds, fine amenities and quick access to Breck!
Our group had three couples with four kids and the house fit us all perfectly. The biggest deciding factor other than great location was the sleeping arrangements being that each family had its own privacy and no one other than the kids had to share beds. It will be hard to beat this house next year if we have the same group going.
The Swiss Chalet was very nice for our family of eleven. We had seven adults and four teenagers. There was lots for them to do although the game room was not as nice as it looked in the picture.
Staff was great.
Our family was delighted with our rental and the Book Breck staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Nice space for families to spread out. Great kitchen. Young adults loved the game room. Staff checked to make sure the accommodations met our expectation. Lots of things to do...hiking, biking(Vail Pass to Frisco), dogsledding, golfing, sailing, horseback riding (American Safari Ranch). Great neighborhood!
The chalet was everything as described. The staff was always willing to give advice and help with any questions we had. House was amazing and fully stocked with all the amenities. Ski in/out and the shuttle were the best part, as we were able to get around Breckenridge easily. Check in/out went without a hitch, not a single problem. Would absolutely come again, highly recommend!
Great house and great location. We had an excellent time, we ended up spending more time than we planned at the house due to the incredible amount of snow that fell while we were there. So we were glad the house was so comfortable and well equipped.
The only problem we ran into was with the shuttle service. It structured the reservations in half hour increments, which we were not aware of. So our options were very limited because all of the morning & afternoon times were taken and they were not flexible or accommodating at all. The only availability most days was after 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and before which became very frustrating because we wanted to ski more. Most of our issues probably resulted from the lack of tip the first day. For some reason no one in our group had cash with them (which was our mistake) the first day and when we spoke to the booking service about the second day pickup we were told that we were required to tip in a very awkward exchange.
Besides the disappointing shuttle service we really enjoyed the house and the location. For future renters I recommend calling a week before arrival to book the priority shuttle times AND don't forget cash to tip the drivers.
