My Husband brought me to Westport January, 1998, to get Razor Clams. We fell in love with the Community, Beaches, Rivers and all they have to offer. We moved to Westport, WA, July, 1998, as Entrepreneurs and started R&R Auto & Small Engine Repairs & Tires January, 1999, at 229 S Montesano St, in Westport, next to the Bowling Alley. In the beginning we worked hard each day and then headed to the the Jetty to catch crabs for an evening nibble, or to the Ocean to catch a couple Perch. All 4 of our Sons have spent quality time with us and even turned a wrench at the shop now and then. Now we share our fishing, clamming, crabbing & beach walks with our New Daughters & 8+ Grandchildren. We love Sharing our Beach Rental Home with Beach Lovers & Outdoor Enjoyers!
Roxanne & Richard Reynolds purchased this house in 1999
We Fell in Love with the Small Beach Town Living, Fishing, Clamming, Crabbing, Beach Walks and Unlimited Outdoor Happenings.

We had a wonderful stay at this house just 3 blocks from the beach. We enjoyed cooking and had all the items needed. The ping pong and darts in the garage were fun for after dinner activities. the beach is really nice and not too crowded. Thanks so much for sharing your home Roxanne!
The house was great. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Although I missed the note that said you have to haul your own trash from the house. Packing 3 days worth of stinky garbage into an already full car is less than ideal. It was such a hassle that we may have chosen another place just out of convenience.
This was our second visit with our young kids and we had a lovely time once again. I was also pleasantly surprised that the cell coverage had greatly improved. Last year we were completely without access, this year we were able to access wireless data and calls, so we could stream movies to the tablet. The beach is a stroll away and the house has pretty much everything you need to get by (towels, linens, tableware & cookware). And we were able to book on fairly short notice, considering our stay was a long weekend over the middle of July. We will definitely be back.
I was expecting an old house but it was terrible. We should up late and the place had no lights and the furnace was off. The beds and sheets and pillows were covered in hair and dirt, luckily we had brought our own blanket so we laid on them. The house smelled so bad we had to go to the store and buy candles and plug in air fresheners to even be inside. The door knobs in the rooms were about to fall off. We went down to the beach which is close but my daughter got all wet and dirty so we decided to wash some clothes and the dryer almost caught my clothes on fire and ruined a few pieces. We weren't expecting a really nice house but this was the worst place we've ever stayed at. Maybe with a little maintenance or TLC this place would be ok.
Just stayed here for the weekend for our anniversary. Cute little home, though with very short ceilings (my boyfriend is 6'3" bumped his head on a lamp a couple times and was just inches from the ceiling haha), nice neighborhood, and the owner is great. Hope to make this a yearly trip. Good for the valvue. Not far from beach, grocery, bar, and tourist strip. Thanks again, Roxanne!
Every thing was as noted in other positive reviews. The Cell phone reception is poor but is available just a few houses north. The house is within a Xfinity hot spot so there was Wifi if you have Comcast. Comfy little place in a quieter part of the coast even with the highway behind the place.
