'Ski' magazine's readers have voted the nearby Jackson Hole Ski Resort as #1 overall. Cross country skiing is just out your back door and back country skiing is less than 15 minutes away. The Grand Targhee Ski Resort, known for its wide open slopes is just 25 minutes from the home and if you are looking for more of a challenge, the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is approximately 40 minutes away. Both resorts are known for lots of powder and excellent skiing.
The closest airport is Jackson (JAC) only 45 minutes from the cabin. We bought the property and built this home in 2007. We are in the hospitality business, and we have gone to great lengths to equip our home with everything you will need to make your trip special. We love the area and know you will love it as much as we do- there is so much to do. Our son is local and he is the property manager.
Quiet backside of the Teton Springs Resort with great views and vista. Elk can often be seen grazing in the meadow behind the house, and moose and eagles have been seen as well.
Use of club privileges is included with the rental, which is not necessarily the case with other area rentals. There is a guest rate charge for sports club amenities, such as the pool.
What an amazing house in a beautiful location! The pictures don't do it justice, this place is spectacular! Seven of us, including three senior citizens and two teenagers, stayed there in early August and we loved every minute of it. The back deck was a fantastic spot for sunrises, watching wildlife, grilling, visiting with family and enjoying the sunsets. You can’t beat that Big Sky sunshine and fresh air. We were even treated to some shooting stars! The house is spacious and beautifully decorated- four bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom, so everyone had their own space when needed, a huge family room and a kitchen with everything you could possibly need. We truly never wanted to leave the house, but when we did, we really enjoyed Victor, Jackson Hole, the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Thanks again for your home and your hospitality, it truly was a once in a lifetime vacation. We can’t wait for our next visit!
(1) The photos on this web page are OK; however, they really don't do justice to how nice, and well furnished, the house is. (2) Jackson Hole is very busy during the summer. It took us only about 30 minutes to get there; and, we were always glad to return to the quiet beauty of the house. We bypassed Jackson when going to the National Parks. (3) Our only (minor) objection is that the pool was a bit expensive for the grandkids to use and that it did not have a slide or diving board. (4) Fly fishing in the Teton Springs ponds was surprising good. There is a sign outside of the swimming pool check in that shows which ponds are stocked. The small stream behind the house is not fishable. (5) My GPS didn't work in the Teton Springs subdivision. Siri did. It's a good idea to get a map from Louise...or when you check in at the gate. (6) Watch for the golden eagles nesting in the forest south of the house and western tanagers in the bushes growing in the small stream.
Teton Springs is a great place to relax, especially at 54 Blackfoot. It is only 30 minutes from Jackson Hole where all the touristy activities are. We went with all the family and everyone had their own bedroom with bath. All together but privacy too. We thoroughly enjoyed this very upscale cabin while enjoying the beauty of Victor, ID. A must see!
This home was fantastic. Had my wife, 15 yo son, sister from Ireland, and 85 year old mother with me. We had a great time and really enjoyed the house. Beautiful furnishings and decks to sit on. My sister basked in the abundant Idaho sun and I sat in the shaded section of the deck. We particularly loved the deck chairs which were very comfortable. On leaving, I had to pry my mom off the deck. For an 85 yo Irish woman, she still packs a punch!
Great location with a very comfortable set up and terrific view of the property and golf course. Loved the golf course and would recommend this property to anyone who wants a great stay in Victor.
We were SO pleased Louise could accommodate our family over Christmas. The home had everything we needed and couldn't have been in a better location for skiing both in Grand Targhee as well as Jackson Hole.
Louise made the booking process simple and was kind enough to offer suggestions of places to visit in the area. (The Elk Conservation Sleigh ride is a must!) Thank you Louise for sharing your wonderful home.
