Our family wanted a beach house that gave us the space we needed to vacation with my parents and our young child. This house was great! Plenty of bedroom space for us to enjoy extended family time but not feel on top of each other. Comfortable house and beautiful private decks. Easy walk across the street to the beach! The beach in front of the house has gorgeous sand but the water line was rocky. t took us a day to figure out how to manage the tides but we lucked out with weather and spent every day on the beach! With a young child and elderly parents we couldn't walk down to the large sandbar but we did manage with swim shoes and spent hours in the water. Owner was great to work with!! We hope to return!
What a great place especially if you have kids that like playing outdoors. A good size yard and well manicured lawn perfect for running around, a great find in a beach house. The house itself was good size and the kitchen is very modern. The extra bedroom in the boathouse is an extra bonus.
The location is directly across from the beach path for easy back and forth- most of the time we were the only users. The beach is nice and not crowded , also little to no waves good for little ones.
Overall a fun stay and easy location to get around. Definitely a good value for the $$.
This was our second time renting a house on the Cape, and the first time renting this one. We were looking for a last-minute rental, as due to our family situation we could not plan ahead very far. The owners were very accommodating, emailing us back promptly and getting everything set up and booked quickly. The house itself was perfect, large and open and clean. The private back year area was great, it was nice to be able to lay out and relax and feel like you were in your own little world! It is just a short walk across the street to the beach, and the beach was pretty quiet while we were there, not crowded at all. We hope to come back again someday!
This is a great place located in Sagamore Beach, away from the agitation that we find in the Cape Cod peninsula and yet so close to it.
Enjoy going for a bike rides on Cape Cod Canal bike way up to Cape Cod RailWay bridge at early morning hours, you will see people going for fishing on the canal and see some of their catches.
Share the guest home located in the garden and have friends and family with you for great stay.
Beach is calm, very private, great for family, quiet reading under an umbrella, no need to rush to get a good place to park your car, place your umbrella on a noisy beach.
There is plenty of space inside this this house, in the garden, in the driveway to park cars.
Plan to use the days of the week to cross the bridge and drive the peninsula up to Provincetown, stay home during the week-end if you prefer avoiding the crowded highways.
