Our stay in Key West was a wonderful month in paradise and I just can't say enough about the lovely home and the people who greet you and make sure that you have everything you need while you are there.
Whether it is an afternoon by the pool or just relaxing on the front porch facing a beautiful park; cooking in the well stocked kitchen or sitting in the comfortable living area making the days plans to enjoy everything Key West has to offer.... You know you have made the right choice by staying at Cas De Rosalie.
This review is well over due especially because my family and I had such an amazing time in CASA DE ROSALIE as well as in Key West!
My family and I stayed the entire month of August in CASA DE ROSALIE. Shel was the our property manger and I let just say how well he treated us. From the time we arrived until the time we left, he made sure everything we needed was taken care off. He even took me and kids to the supermarket since we didn't have a car the first day we arrived. If provided us with plenty of information about the island as well as the home. We have not one compliment about him! Thank you again Shel!
CASA DE ROSALIE itself was amazing! My two sons (11 and 12yrs old) and my daughter (6yrs old) spent in the spacious rooms upstairs. My husband and I took the larger bedroom downstairs. When ever we had visitors they would sleep in my daughters room. So we had plenty of space for us as well as numerous guests we had stay with us through out the month. CASA DE ROSALIE provided all the comforts of ones own home. The home was clean and the AC was perfect!!! The kitchen was fully stocked, the living room and bedrooms were comfortable and ready to be relaxed in! The pool area was perfect for my kids! For them that was the best part of our trip! My husbands favorite part was the grill! Mine was the relaxation CASA DE ROSALIE provided.
During our stay we hit all the beaches which are either a 5min walk or a 5min car drive. Because I have small children my favorite beach was Smathers Beach. It was peaceful with calm waves and less crowed then the other beaches on the island. They also have water activities and an ice cream truck for the kids. Some other beaches like Fort Zachary Park are crowed! We're New Yorkers and were avoiding that at all costs! If you choose to go to Fort Zachary get water shoes!! The beach is extremely rocky!!
If you have small children we suggest renting a car! And if you are staying for a whole month, go to the chain supermarket! You'll save so much money!! Take the bus tour as well because you get to see the entire island for the whole day. And you're able to jump on and off the bus!
All and all we had a wonderful time in Key West at CASA DE ROSALIE. We are planning to stay at another one of Last Key Realities next summer, they were completely amazing!
We loved our stay at Casa De Rosalie. This home offers all the amenities that you will need to make your vacation carefree and relaxing. Unusually large and sunny swimming pool for Key West is a huge plus for us as we spend a lot of time in the sun. The rooms are nicely appointed, the kitchen well stocked with every possible utensil and appliance. Linens are plentiful and the first floor laundry room is very convenient. The staff at Last Key is wonderful to work with and very responsive as was the maintenance man that was needed for just one day. We look forward to our stay next year!
