At the end of a private, tree lined lane sits Kilmurry Cottage, our Irish home away from our American home.
Set high on a bluff overlooking Dingle Bay and the Ring of Kerry, the cottage is within walking distance to a 15th century castle, Storm Beach and the Dingle Way, a walking trail throughout the Peninsula.
The cottage is small, neat, simple, secure and comfortable.
At night the dark sky is bright with stars and the twinkling lights from the cottages on the Ring of Kerry are visible.
On a moonlight night the experience is breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful and often one can hear the soft sound of waves crashing on Storm Beach.
Located eight miles from our peaceful, remote cottage is the Town of Dingle, an active and colorful town and harbor with pubs, traditional irish music, farmers markets, fairs and more.
We appreciate that you have made your home available to guests. We felt very much at home.
We had wonderful weather and a glorious full moon. Never really got dark for those few days.
Most of all the view out the window feeds the soul.
We had a wonderful stay at Kilmurry Cottage. The location couldn't be more beautiful, and the cottage itself is excellent— comfortable and well-supplied. I'd especially recommend this listing for families. My kids loved the sheep, the short walk to Minard Castle (and the beach), and just generally being able to roam.
We spent one week at Kilmurry cottage for our honeymoon. Pamela is very accommodating and helpful. The cottage is very comfortable, boasts stunning views, and is a short distance from Dingle by car. It was an amazing stay. I could not get enough of the views, and I was teary-eyed the morning we left. I hope that I can go back one day soon.
Spectacular location overlooking the bay with view of the hills behind, bluffs and Kerry peninsula in the distance. Car needed, but it was an easy drive to attractions in Dingle, or go for long walks nearby. Beach within easy walking distance. House clean, simple and comfortable. Played golf and explored the peninsula.reccomend highly.
We spent a fabulous week here. The views are astonishing. The two bedroom house was lovely. A short drive to Dingle town. Great spot. Great people. We would love to return. Highly recommended.
We had the pleasure of staying this fall at this lovely cottage. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy. The best part about our stay was that we were at the end of a country lane with an unobstucted view overlooking Dingle Bay and across to the Mountains on the Ring of Kerry. Amazing! Our walks from the cottage along quiet roads led us to the beach, and a ruined castle. It was not far from Dingle Town, about 10 minutes drive. Good value for the price.
