We live in Colorado near Denver. Serge works a s an environmental engineer and geologist, running a small consulting and earthwork construction company. We travel to Puerto Penasco every chance we get by flying to Phoenix and driving down in a car we have stashed there. We love the ocean and boating and have a 25-ft Bayliner cabin cruiser and are owners of the Siana, a 42-ft Californian charter vessel in Puerto Penasco harbor 1/2 mile away from our condo.
Debbie Hanson purchased this condo in 2010
We love going to the ocean in Mexico and Puerto Penasco's location is close to the US border which allows us to drive there. This is the closest ocean to our main home in Littleton, Collorado.
We had quite a gang: Parental units, Grandparental units and four teenagers. Everyone was delighted with their accommodations, and the kids had the bunk room all to themselves. Great location and right on the beach with lots of tide pools to explore. We enjoyed the banana boats (3 times!), hair braiding (once) and some wonderful massages on the patio. Very close to town, so lots of good restaurants available. Kitchen was very well outfitted, so we made some yummy dinners in the evening. A wonderful memory for us all.
spent a weekend with friends, we had lots of space for a bunch of crazy people, the place was almost empty so we practically enjoyed the pool by ourselves, early morning we walked on the beach collecting seashells and at night we could seat back and enjoy the ocean sound, we woke up in the morning to see some seals and dolphins swiming nearby. Had gone to Peñasco a previous time and stayed at a bigger hotel place but it dis not compare to having your own private space to enjoy... I will definitely go back soon
The pictures on the site are good, but do not do this condo any justice it is amazing. You can tell Debbie and Serg put alot of thought into the decorations and comfort of the condo. You could literally just bring your clothes as the condo has everything you could want or need. The view from the patio is to die for or you can sit in the infinity edge pool. I highly recommend this condo to everyone. And Debbie is great to work with and answers all questions promptly.
Great vacation, the property was great could use higher water pressure though.
My family and I truly enjoyed ourselves. The condo was well equipped.
I just wanted to take the time to say, thank you! Your place is beautiful we really enjoyed our stay....and will definitely keep you in mind for future stays.
It was our first trip to Puerto Penasco but won't be our last.
We enjoyed the condo itself and I loved the way you have it decorated it really does add to the Mexican vacation experience and you had everything we could possibly need.
We really enjoyed our morning walks coming for sea shells and hearing the crashing waves and of coarse the view and with a short drive to the malecon shopping and great food... First night we ate at The Point which we loved the food, drinks and service.
We also rented a banana boat and jet ski and a sunset cruise....a lot of fun packed in 3 nights.
My only suggestion would be whenever you decide it's time to replace your sofa make it a pull out. That is only so I can come back and share your beautiful place with my parents brother and my family. Making it for 6 adults and 3 kids. That's just because I know they will be so envious when I share all my pictures and stories that they will most definitely want to experience it too. Or if there was a way of renting 2 units next door to each other. Anyhow it was a awesome mini vacation!!!!
Thank you for sharing your place with us.

This beautiful condo is on the very edge of the Sea of Cortez in the fishing & vacation town of Puerto Penasco, known to the Americans as Rocky Point. Only 65 miles south of Arizona, it is a pleasant 1 1/4 hour drive from border crossing at Lukeville, AZ. The living room patio door opens onto a patio situated only 80 feet from the water's edge at high tide. The ocean view changes constantly as the tide advances and retreats twice daily, exposing thousands of rocks and hundreds of tide pools swarming with marine life. Hermit crabs, snails, black brittle starfish, and small fish abound in the tide pools and lure in hundreds of seagulls, pelicans, and plovers, with occasional white cranes and albatross. As the tide advances, the pelicans dive and gulp their lunch in an ongoing spectacle of splashing and flapping wings. Occasionally a pod of dolphins cruises by, sometimes jumping out of the water to the delight of the guests. Bring your camera, binoculars, & shell bag to this Cornucopia of marine life.
Other Activities: Watching sea lions, dolphins, varied marine life, walking the beach, tide pools, charter fishing trips, sunset cruises, whale-watching cruises in Jan - March, swimming, dining, shopping, night clubs, many restaurants and bars!
