Joel and Valerie are thrilled to offer our second rental after one year of renting our own residence (Homeaway #958925) for the past year. We are so grateful to live in such a wonderful city and are thrilled to host our guests in luxurious style so they may enjoy Austin and all that it has to offer. One of us bleeds orange and is a Longhorn Alum., the other a Northwestern Wildcat. We love the music scene, are foodies at heart with adventurous spirits to locate the next and best restaurant or trailer and don't miss a festival when possible. WE LOVE AUSTIN and know you will too!!
Valerie Granoff purchased this house in 2012
We bought this property to allow for easy access to one of our favorite parts of town. But we only wanted a property that was beautiful, updated and was as nice to stay in as it was to leave given its perfect location. The entire area is blossoming with new remodels.
We looked for many months for the perfect property in the perfect location--we wanted to have it all!! And we found it. This home offers the best of a great use of beautifully remodeled space, room to easily entertain and close to all of the attractions that make Austin one of the greatest places on earth.
This property was just right for us, a family of 8. Very modern inside, and had all the appliances we needed for our stay. It was just like being home but away from home at the same time. The Location was just right, about 10 minutes away from DT in the SOCO area which was just right because i had my wedding and needed to be close by. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend it to all my friends and family.
We had a great time staying in the house. Val and Joel were soooo welcoming. They were in touch and made sure we had what we needed, and were having a great time. The house was great - clean, cozy, and very well stocked. We had everything we needed. The in's and out's of the house were clearly explained and comprehensive. Everything about our stay was smooth, simple, and awesome!
Just stayed here for the end of April, beginning of May weekend and had an absolute blast! The house is very nice inside with beautiful floors and bedrooms. Plenty of space for many guests (we had 8 sleeping there!). You do need to be mindful of the neighbors next door (have a little one and someone sleeps in an Airstream in the driveway), but they seemed fairly easy going! Location of the house is awesome (we walked to Torchy's Tacos for an early lunch one morning), very easy to get to and get back to. There was a nice little welcome package waiting for us when we arrived and Valerie was readily available if we needed anything else on our stay! I'd recommend this house to anyone I know traveling to Austin. Not sure we could've found anything better in the price range! Made some memories to last a lifetime that weekend and the house is definitely a part of that!
Love this little house! It was the perfect size for us girls! We had about 9 girls stay in the house and it was more than enough space. The owners were super easy to work with and gave plenty of supplies while we were there! Great location, close to the South Congress shops and also within walking distance to a great little winery.
I highly recommend this house for your vacation in Austin!
We had a wonderful time at your lovely home. We had 9 girls for a bachelorette party and the home was more spacious than the pictures had me to believe at first. The location is perfect, quick drive to South Congress, short walk to things like the new urban winery down the street (Infinite Monkey Theorem♥) and about a $10-$15 uber to the 6th street bars. We loved everything about the home from the extra paper products (TP, Paper Towels, etc) to the keurig coffee maker and pods for our early mornings. It was a little chilly but we still enjoyed back patio which was perfect for eating breakfast and lunch. I also loved how Valerie checked in to make sure everything was great during our stay and left us a bottle of wine for our stay-- great customer service! Everyone in our group commented on how well I did booking a cute place so that's always a big plus. :) Thanks Valerie and Joel!
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Everything was very clean and well maintained, all necessary items were provided for and the owners were very friendly. Would definitely come back again and recommend to others.
