Eagles Ridge Lodge is a luxury log cabin conveniently located only 2 miles from the charming town of Dillsboro, NC and the Tuckaseegee River and only 5 miles from downtown Sylva. It’s central location and easy access to highway 441 also makes it convenient to the surrounding towns of Franklin, Cherokee, Bryson City, Waynesville, and Western Carolina University.
Tucked away in a private knoll on a beautiful mountain side, this spacious 3 bedroom, 3 full bath home is perfect for a large family or group seeking fun and relaxation in the Smoky mountains.
Offering gorgeous, long-range mountain views, you’ll want to enjoy your morning cup of coffee relaxing outside on the large wrap-around deck or covered front porch. From there, you can take in the morning sun as it rises over the mountains and replaces the fog that blankets the peaks and valleys in the distance. At night, the views are equally as beautiful as the lights from the charming town of Dillsboro in the valley below fill the night sky.
When you open the front door, the great room welcomes you with its rustic, dry stack stone fireplace and vaulted ceilings. The adjacent kitchen is large, fully stocked and upscale with beautiful granite countertops, spacious rock accented cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and ceramic tile floors. The open dining area comfortably seats seven. This 3 story cabin has a bedroom on each level which gives added privacy. The main level bedroom has a rustic log king sized bed, large cedar-lined closet, and sliding glass doors that open to the large wrap around deck where a huge 7 person hot tub awaits you. Also on the main level is a full bathroom and separate laundry room.
Upstairs is another spacious bedroom with a king sized bed, walk-in cedar lined closet and doors that open to your private deck overlooking those gorgeous mountain peaks. Next to the bedroom is another full bath. In the loft area is the game room. With a fooseball table, air hockey table, and magnetic dart board there’s plenty to keep the kids (and grown-ups) occupied for hours on end.
Downstairs is a 3rd bedroom with a queen-sized log bed and an on-suite full bath. All the bedrooms have 32 inch flat screen televisions with satellite programming. In addition, there is a 50 inch flat screen HDTV in the great room and wireless internet access throughout the cabin.

The house is great. Very well maintained and lovely. We have stayed here twice and have been very happy both times. We have three children and we meet my mother and father-in-law. All 7 of us fit quite comfortably. The house has a blow up mattress and a pack n'play to help. The kids love the hot tub.
The only very small downside is the drive way is a bit chewed up at the bottom of the hill. However, it's really not a big deal as long as you know it's there.
We met Josh upon our arrival at Eagles Ridge and he was extremely cordial and energetic. He made us feel welcome and at home.
We didn't think we'd be using the air hockey, foosball or even the hot tub but we ended up thoroughly enjoying the games and the warm plunge in the great outdoors.
As with any accommodations, it's the people who make the memories but Eagles Ridge gives you everything you need to enjoy a mountain vacation experience and the rest is up to you.
We loved the fire place and made good use of the fully stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. Harold's grocery is just a few minutes away and the restaurants in Dillsboro and Sylva offer tasty meals and friendly southern charm that warms your heart.
There was a lot more to do than we could accomplish in just the one week and we look forward to our next trip in warmer weather to try out the river rafting, fly fishing and horseback riding.
The Christian family
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The three floors of sleeping arrangements are very convenient and make privacy easy. This was especially important as we had a honeymoon couple in our family party. The home is clean and has everything necessary for a great stay. The location is so convenient to area attractions, a short drive to shopping or sightseeing. We spent quite a bit of time observing the quarry operations on the mountain across the valley. The lights of Dillsboro at night are so very pretty from the front porch. Even though there was a drought, we enjoyed the fire pit one night, but kept water nearby just in case. It's a great place for family to gather for roasted marshmallows or hotdogs (we had both). The road to the cabin is not bad, but the driveway entrance is a bit tricky. I mastered it quickly, but family members had to back up and try a second time. Just remember, when you make it up the driveway, the cabin makes it all worthwhile! Kim was so very helpful and considerate, couldn't ask for a better owner to deal with!
My family and I loved our stay! This cabin has beautiful views, and has all the ambiance of rustic mountain feel. It's located within minutes of town, with plenty of quaint shops to choose from. The drive to the cabin was a little tricky, but manageable. Kim and Josh were very hospitable, and provided welcoming "treats" for both our family and two fur babies. HIGHLY recommend this property, you will not be disappointed!!
Second time staying here. Great amenities and great location, will be returning for additional stays.
We visited the area for a week in September. We were welcomed with treats for us and the dog. The cabin was very nice. The cabin has a manual to help you out. The only thing missing in it is a help guide to set up the TV's. Luckily I knew a friend that has dish TV and he walked me through how to set up the inputs. The Internet was fast and easy to use. The bed was comfortable and the walk in closet with hangers was a bonus. The cabin was conveniently located. We visited Asheville, Chimney Rock, Brevard, Mt. Mitchell, Bryson City, and Franklin during the day and enjoyed the hot tub at night. The fire pit was nice and we brought mountain pie makers but we were to tired to start a fire. The cabin was very dog friendly and the breweries were very dog friendly. The best dog friendly place to eat was The Creekside Oyster House and Grill in Sylva. The food was good.
Thanks for making our stay a great experience.
