Great house in Burke
This house met all our needs and is in a great location. Great place to be based for skiing, snowshoeing and many other outdoor activities. We would definitely stay there again.
We stayed at Bill's house over a long weekend. We were 7 adults and we slept really comfortably. Everything needed there for a big group. Exactly as described. Ideally situated and close to the biking trails and Burke mountain. We'll be back!
What a place.
Unbelievable location and community. Awesome house and pump track. Great times ahead for all.
We had a large group staying for a wedding and loved the cabin. It was clean and comfortably accommodated all 9 of us. Would definitely stay there again!!
Awesome mountain biking long weekend!
This is a beautiful home that comfortably slept our 6 family members and 4 more visitors on one of the nights! THe house is clean and well-kept. The owner was responsive to any questions or concerns. My children LOVED the pump track even after a full day of mountain biking. There wasn't a clear path to the brook so this would be challenging for young children. My only suggestion is more plates and utensils. There weren't enough for 10 people so we used paper plates and plastic silverware one night. We really hope to return again soon!
Our Home Away From Home
This is the 3rd year we have stayed at Bill's cabin and when we got there this year, one of my friends remarked that it's almost like a second home now. It truly is, and I love coming back every year. The house is ~5 minutes from the closest trailhead (granted it's at the BOTTOM but what goes up must come down, right?) and for us is both close enough to the trails and secluded enough to afford the peace we like when we come here. The house is in great condition, the yard is excellent, stream is beautiful (and cold) and the pump track is just an added bonus. I cannot say enough good about this house & the ower. Both top notch, and highly recommended.
This property is located in a secluded area and is surrounded by woods on all sides. The property is on 7 acres and has a large field in the backyard that leads to to a river that is deep enough to wade in. It is located about 5 miles away from Burke Mountain and is less than a mile away from the Darling Hill mountain bike trails. The house itself was newly built in 2010 and has ample space for friends and family. It currently sleeps 14 and has 2 3/4 bathrooms.
