About this property

This is of Vails most recognized homes. More of a floating igloo, this is two joined complete units with two full custom kitchens, living rooms dinning areas decks and more. Each floor has its own theme, but are both complete with game tables, pinball machines and living spaces. Each floor has a full custom kitchen and two full bathrooms for 4 total. The top floor has three bedrooms and the lower has 4. There is a ton of private outdoor space to enjoy the amazing views. You can hike or nordic ski right out the front door. Grocery and restaurants are close and bus comes through too.

Plenty of parking at the unit, plus two free parking spots come in town at any of the city garages.

Just minutes from the Cascade lift, the Dome is perched high in the trees with incredible views in every direction. West Vail offers easy access to both Vail Ski Resort, and Beaver Creek Ski Resort as well as all the shopping, grocery stores and restaurants with out ever needing to get on the highway.

Great house for a big group not too far from the slopes

Awesome location with tons of beds for a large group and plenty of parking. Maybe a small caution that the property is two separate apartments so if you're a big group just know there isn't an internal stairway. This wasn't obvious to me but maybe I missed something in the initial listing. You're also above a ground floor apartment which might be a factor for some folks. Very responsive hosts/manager. Quick drive to Lionshead/Vail without needing to get on I-70. There is a bus but you will want a car. New appliances and some fun additions like a digital games table which our group thoroughly enjoyed being able to play Connect4, Trivial Pursuits, and Battleships around the table.

Why they chose this property

The south side of West Vail is one of the best secrets. We are on the same side of the valley as the ski resort. Unlike East Vail or the North side. You don't have to get back on the highway to access downtown Vail or the grocery stores or restaurants which can be literally impossible during a snow storm. The Cascade lift is 2 minutes away as well.

What doesnt make it unique? Its an amazing sanctuary, has two full and complete homes in one and an amazing location. 360 degree views. Privacy and easy to access Vail and Beaver Creek
