Newly renovated ( 2012 ) apartment of 1500 sf on the second floor of a nice stone front building in the heart of Le Quartier Latin within walking distance of all the festivals and shows ( Walk Score 97 ). Everything is brand new ( beds , linen , mattresses , sofas , ..) . We have three bedrooms ( two large and a smaller one ) with a king bed , a queen bed and one sofa bed ( double bed ) . The pictures speak for themselves . It is a mixture of old and very modern style with all the conveniences you need .
I own this property since 1990 . It is a beautiful stone front building very typical of this area of Montreal . The house has been built around 1900 .
I just love to renovate these old houses and try to show there beauty and character . I try to keep the best of the old and mix it with some very modern design . These old houses often have to many small rooms . So we try to open the spaces and we sometimes discover some nice treasures ( brick , wood ,..) in these walls .
I hope you will enjoy the beauty of this appartement and it will make you feel good !
The location is just great . The apartement is renovated in 2012 with nice spaces and brand new furnitures .You can visit Montreal without a car , just walking around ...Good for your health !
This property is magnificient and the surroundings are pretty similar . There is a sense of history . I love stone front building .
We came to eat ...and eat/drink we did !
We overinduldlged in all things "québécois" at Au Pied de Cochon and Joe Beef - we highly recommend both for an incredible Montreal eating experience .
Lambert , the apartement was fantastic and very cozy ! We truely enjoyed our time on St-Hubert , thank you very much !
We limp back to Pennsylvania w swollen bellies , frozen toes and good memories !
Merci bocu ,

We were on a whirlwind trip of Canada with a 12 year-old boy and 18 year-old girl. Logistically this can be a challenging combination, especially for longer stays. But we had no problems here—each had their own bedroom. The biggest problem was finding a place to park the van; decoding the complicated combinations of parking signs can be a challenge for out-of-towners. But Lambert’s property manager found us one that didn’t require us to move the van the entire time we were there. We walked everywhere, even to old town Montreal. Even though there is only one air conditioning unit located at one end of the apartment and we were there on some relatively warm days, we didn’t have any problems sleeping at night—the A/C unit managed to cool the entire apartment, with a little help from the provided floor fans.
And yes there was one night where the downstairs neighbors were a bit noisy, but only until around 11PM.
We loved our stay at this very clean, wonderfully located apartment! There was plenty of room for our family of five - even a desk for our college student to use for studying!! We did not cook at the apartment but the kitchen was very well appointed. It also had a washer and dryer which was a nice surprise and did get some use. The stairs to the front door are steep but they are sturdy with a good hand rail. The steep front steps seem to be the norm for this hilly area. The apartment is very close to a park, grocery and numerous restaurants. We highly recommend this apartment when visiting Montreal!!
Beautiful, super clean apartment centrally located.
There is a secure garage on the corner of St Hubert and Ontario and the weekend rate was $9 per night.
We basically parked the car and either walked or took short taxi rides to and from dinner.
Beds were very comfortable and the apartment is exactly as shown on VRBO.
Neighbors downstairs certainly like to whoop it up and spent Saturday and Sunday nights on their patio below.
That being said, we slept soundly after closing the windows, putting on the A/C and turning on the fans provided in each room.
Highly recommend as a great home away from home!!!!!
Our group of 5 had a lovely 4-day stay in the apartment mid-May. The contemporary decor is lovely and is exactly as pictured in the photos. The location is very good...within walking distance (or easy walk to public transportation) of pretty much everything that you'll want to see. We had a car and were able to find overnight free street parking within a few blocks. As commented on by another visitor, the front steps are very steep and there are at least 10 of them so keep that in mind if you are older or impaired. The beds were comfortable and there was enough lighting in general (I would have liked a little more in the bathroom). The bathroom could be better equipped...there was only one hand towel (the numerous bath towels did the job though), the sink, while lovely to look at was difficult to use since the medicine cabinet stuck out almost as far as the sink did, making face washing and tooth brushing difficult, and the bathtub/shower is a big step up with no grab bar for shorties like us. It was great having a washer/dryer in the apartment so that we could dry the bath towels since there really weren't any racks in the bathroom to do this. We also suggest a step stool in the kitchen since the cabinets are pretty high for shorter people. Lambert was very attentive in getting us some paper towels, dish towels, and dish soap when we requested it. The appliances all worked well and the living room/kitchen area provided a nice gathering area for our group. Thanks for a great stay!
This is a good apartment for a small family or several couples. Conveniently located and comfortable. Amenities good, and easy to operate in. Metro close by, as were multiple good restaurants. Owner very attentive. Very steep stairs to access. We occasionally had cigarette smoke smell in bedroom and bathroom, I believe from downstairs occupants or those smoking in back area of apartment complex.
The apartment was immaculate and well finished. I highly recommend staying here. Lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Crazy close to the subway and overall a very easy and accessible location. Two thumbs up!
Montreal is just a great city to travel to . You have the flavour of a European city with all the conveniences of a north American city . The apartment is located in the best spot to do all your visiting by walk ( Walk Score of 97 ) or just cycling . You are in Le Quartier Latin ...La rue St-Denis is a few hundred meters( yards ) away and is just a great place to spend time on a terrace , do some shopping or go the the theater . If you walk down the street , you will arrive in the Old Montreal . It is just a marvelous place to go to with all these old buildings ( 1600 and up ) , museum , port and bike route . Some of the best restaurants of Montreal are located in the old Montreal .
If you go north a few hundred ( yards )meters you will be in one of the nicest park of Montreal ( parc Lafontaine ) . This is le Plateau Mont-Royal , one of the nicest neighborhood in North America . It is young , lively and very charming with all the boutiques , café , small streets , terrace , theaters , arts , .....
Montreal is an international city with a french accent ....la joie de vivre is everywhere . People are very nice and polite and they love to have fun . So in the summer time we have a ton of festivals ( Jazz festival , humour festival , .....) that are internationally renowned . They are all within walking distance of the apartment .
Enjoy your vacation in Montreal !!
