Excellent Location

  • 4 of 5

The condo we stayed in was great! It is located close to Main Street, so we walked to Main Street for shopping (Park Silly on Sunday) and meals. Park Station is close to Park City Mountain Resort which is where we spent the majority of the time enjoying the summer activities. (I highly recommend the Alpine Slide, zip line, and Alpine coaster.)

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Thank you! There were plenty of towels for 6 girls. The beds were firm, but comfortable. The condo was very cozy! The only concern was the carpet; it was soaking wet in the living room next to the closet. We think it came from the furnace/a.c. unit. I hope it gets fixed.

Make sure you print out your parking pass! I thought the parking pass would be in the condo, but it wasn't. It was somewhat inconvenient to go make a copy after we arrived. Luckily, the library was about a half mile down from Park Station to go make a copy of the pass.

The swimming pool was great! The hot tub was warm, but the jets were weak. Both the pool and hot tub are really big.

I would definitely stay at Park Station again.

Thank you!

Owner's Response: Dear Alisa, Thank you for staying at our Park Station condo, right near Main Street Park City and for your recommendation of our property and services. Very happy to hear that the condo was well-suited to your needs and wants, while on vacation; we continue to add and upgrade all of our properties. Appreciate your feedback on the carpet and leak and it has since been taken care of. The correct parking passes have been in limbo this summer with the HOA, so we've had to email Guest's beforehand with it, as it can change daily. Hope this changes moving forward and we will share your feedback with them. Appreciate your feedback - it is very important to us, so we can continue to improve upon your experience - and recommendation. Safe travels ahead and we look forward to your next visit. Best Regards, Reservations Team, iTrip Park City

Stay at Park City

  • 4 of 5

This condo has an excellent location. It is well kept and makes a nice place to come home to after a long day of skiing. The hot tub is wonderful however it is only open from 4PM to 10PM. I was disappointed not to be able to tub in the morning to loosen up for a ski. The sound equipment is outdated and is set up for early model phones so we were unable to use them for Pandora etc. The glasses were not well cleaned and some still had lipstick on them which was a minor irritant. Overall I would recommend staying at this condo.

Comfy Condo, Close to Downtown, Great Value

  • 5 of 5

Our long weekend retreat to Park Station was a great success and the whole family loved the place, the upgrades and the location. It's authentic Park City (the Old Town brick design), but we could see that there was work put into the place and it made it more homely. Can only imagine what it's like in the winter here, since is just one block over from the Park City Town Lift - great for fall hiking, but I'm sure it's just as convenient for winter skiing.

Close to restaurants - which was exactly what we wanted. The place was also very clean and well cared for - didn't actually find anything out of place and it had everything we wanted and more.

Disappointing...wouldn't stay here again

  • 2 of 5

Tried posting the full review I wrote, but inadequate character count doesn't allow me to share all the details. Abbreviated version here.

Each taken individually not a big deal, but taken together, they soured the experience:

- Unit itself has been renovated, but the building is old and ugly inside

- 5 of 7 lights under kitchen cabinets out

- 1 of 2 lights by fireplace out

- 2 of 3 lights over master bath vanity out

- light over master shower out

- ice maker in the freezer didn’t work

- emailed the mgmt co about the above; only fixed vanity & fireplace lights

- front burner on the stove didn’t work. Sunday husband jiggled it, spark flew out, hit his head, and blew out the whole range. Communication around getting it fixed was not good; in the end it was fixed by Monday noon which was good.

- recliner didn't recline; handle missing

- sliding doors to coat closet incredibly difficult to move

- room with two beds had no curtains & a broken blind

- WiFi instructions inadequate, speeds were slow & didn’t reach the master bedroom. Emailed about it; much back & forth; no resolution; used public network hence the bad experience.

- No trash room inside the building, not apparent outside, emailed about it and was told they had no idea where it was.

- listing said washer & dryer; it's 1 floor up & you have a pay for it. Hadn't planned on that. Washed things in sink.

- binder in the unit would be nice given how not straightforward internet, trash, and laundry are

- mattress in the MBR was hard and old-school where you feel every move your partner makes

- note on picture of pool in listing said “open in the summer” so didn’t pack bathing suits. Pro: open. Con: had to buy four suits so we could use it

The Good:

- Location is fantastic. Easy walk to Town Lift and all of Main Street

- Kitchen is adequate, though there are so few dishes I ran the dishwasher every day

- Space is adequate

- Very quiet

- Hot water and water pressure were very good, important to me after a day on the mountain

- Pool and hot tub were fun to use with the kids each night

- Wonderful to have the fireplace, there was wood we could use, but know you have to go out and either find kindling or buy fire starters

- Good grocery store close by (~3 minute drive or 15 minute walk)

The location and price are great, so decide for yourself if these things matter and you’re willing to put up with lots of little annoyances. However, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Owner's Response: Dear Kristy, Thank you for choosing to stay at our Park Station condo and for sharing your feedback with us and future Guests. We’re pleased to know that the property was spacious and comfortable with amenities that you enjoyed and also that the location was well suited for your family. Regarding all of your specific feedback, we did address everything that you brought to our attention – stove, lightbulbs and Wi-Fi – and then some right away. To be frank, I don’t think there was anything we could do to make you happy – even offering a discount for the few inconveniences – and I wish that we could have. The building is built with brick and yes, it’s not necessarily the most appealing thing to the eye, but as our property is a condo within a bigger building complex, there isn’t much we can do about it. Park City is also very proud of its historic buildings and changing the exterior (brick, roofing, paint color, etc.) is based on much more than doing it on just a whim, so that’s a bigger conversation in itself. Concerning the Wi-Fi, it’s a part of our HOA fees as a part of Park Station Condominiums, so management of it and communication with the provider is very limited at best. We did inform the HOA of our concerns about slow download speeds, but again there is only so much that they themselves can do to change that. Safe travels in the future and we hope you choose to visit Park City again. Best Regards, Reservations Team, iTrip

Great stay at Park Station

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in Park City in January at this condo - the perfect location for a family of 4 skiers. We could walk the half block to the Town Lift at Park City or we hopped on the bus right in front of Park Station for skiing at Deer Valley. The condo itself was clean and the right size for us. The beds were comfortable after a full day of skiing. The kitchen is fine and there are great restaurants are within easy walking distance.

The best thing about this place is its location. Because it was clean and neat, I gave it two stars, but everything was minimal and we did not feel welcomed. It is rather dark, lights needed even at noon, and lamps with 60 watt bulbs just do not provide enough light for reading comfortably on the couch. Explicit directions for connecting to wi fi would have been appreciated. There was an extra step we were ignorant of and we were very frustrated before talking to the nice person at the lobby desk. There was no listing of TV channels, and it was irritating to have to go through 50-odd channels to find the one you wanted. Even cheap motels provide this! An unworkable blind in the smaller bedroom (mentioned by an earlier renter) needs to be fixed. One small soap per bathroom? Cheesy. One bathroom sink and one shower are plumbed backward....not a deal breaker, but irritating. The two-slice toaster only worked on the outside....if you wanted both sides toasted, you had to flip the bread and toast again. And only one dish towel?? We found a second one in the housekeeping closet with a sign saying "please do not use"! There are not enough dishes. With just six plates, six salad plates and five salad bowls, if this place is filled to capacity, someone must always be washing dishes! No cereal bowls or odd containers. One small cube ice tray? Not enough! Most mornings we found water from the refrigerator on the kitchen floor (also mentioned by an earlier renter). And where was the French door refrigerator?? Last....but certainly not least....a queen-sized blanket DOES.NOT.WORK on a king-sized bed!

All these things are so easily...and cheaply....fixed and would be far more welcoming to a renter; it is a shame to pull this condo down by not doing them. As it is, I cannot recommend it.
