Our premier south-facing mountain view chalet is located in a small 'n intimate resort just a 10 minute walk away from downtown Canmore. And we offer our guests a complimentary FREE BANFF PARK PASS to get in and out of the Park -- a $29/day savings!

Imagine stepping from your car and into our pristine, cozy and comfortable Rocky Mountain-themed chalet. You'll be rewarded with awe-inspiring mountain views from our south facing windows and patio. Kick back and relax in front of the fire, or head out with your family or companions to our year round heated large outdoor pool and 12-person hot tub for a well-deserved soak. Our 900 sq. ft. two-story chalet (maximum of 6 occupants) has two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is fully and very comfortably furnished. Our well equipped kitchen comes complete with a Keurig or drip coffee maker along with a complimentary selection of K-Cups. We’ve also added a blender for your healthy smoothies to start off the day, a slow cooker and rice cooker for those savoury family-friendly comfort meals simmering away while you’re out ‘n about. If you prefer to chill 'n grill, two new common area BBQ’s are nestled in our lovely, private common area courtyard just steps away from our chalet.

We offer many personal touches to enhance your stay. These include private, free, high speed, VERY reliable WIFI and besides Cable TV, we have also have installed Smart/AppleTV/Netflix TV options so you can enjoy hundreds of on-demand movies, TV shows, concerts, WSJ Live, Bloomberg channels for news, and more! In addition, your stay includes a complimentary copy of the owners "Out'n About Banff & Canmore" guidebook that's chock full of great ideas on what to do in our wonderful area. We know you'll love it!

Situated around our welcoming courtyard, immerse yourself in Canmore's pristine mountain community -- Canmore residents are listed as some of the happiest people in Canada! Our lovely resort is a 10-minute walk to downtown Canmore – a wonderful uncomercialized western mountain town that now boasts over 100 unique shops and 80+ gourmet restaurants. There are kilometers of forested walking paths located just outside our doors. You might also want to check out Canmore's lovely $40M recreation center – Elevation Place – boasting a huge climbing wall, multiple pools, a lazy river, watersides, hot tub, steam room, library, art gallery, drop in fitness/yoga classes and a great work out facility.

Our chalet is a 15 minute drive to the BANFF/LAKE LOUISE NATIONAL PARK gates and a 20 minute drive over to the KANANASKIS and PETER LOUGHHEED PROVINCIAL PARKS – a year-round recreational and scenic paradise right at your doorstep. We are a 50 minute drive up to spectacular Lake Louise.

About Donna Scott

We bought two chalets at Mystic Springs as vacation properties/investments to enjoy with our two daughters while living in Edmonton. We loved Canmore so much, we moved here permanently in 2005. As an avid outdoor family, we've hiked, biked, kayaked, rock-climbed, nordic and downhill skied everywhere throughout our wonderful area -- Canmore and Banff are truly a mountain lovers four season paradise. We know you'll love it too!

This is by far the most unique family friendly property in Canmore. Only 44 townhome-style units comprise this quaint resort and all are wrapped around a beautiful courtyard that houses a huge outdoor pool that is heated year-round and a fabulous 12-person hot tub. We loved the fact that you can drive right up to your chalet - no elevators, long corridors to deal with while unloading all your gear. It is a full 2 storey townhome concept so there is no one tromping around on top of you either - nice and quiet! Our chalets also have ski lockers to safely store your gear. There are picnic tables and barbecues beside the pool area that are available to use. There is also a common area movie/games room with a 65' flat screen 3D TV equipped with XBox Kinect, 3D movies and ping pong/foos ball tables everyone will enjoy. A true home away from home in a friendly, intimate boutique resort community.

Great location, well-stocked

We spent 6 nights with 3 people - two adults and a teen boy. The property met all of our needs easily. We loved the location - we walked into Canmore for shopping and dining several times. The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company was so close and a great restaurant. We used the kitchen for breakfast, making lunches to go and eating in a few nights. It was well-stocked with appliances and pot/pans and we appreciated the spices and oils left from past guests. The bbq out back was busy, but everyone shared and we didn't have any problems finding time to use it. The bedrooms were comfortable and we only had problems with noise from across the street one night and that is because our window was open. With the windows closed, it was very quiet.

Donna was easy to work with and answered any questions we had. We would definitely book with her again in the future.

Great family stay!

My family loved the accommodations! There was plenty of space for our family of 5 and the pool and hot tub were a fun way to relax at the end of each day. We would definitely stay here again!

Ideal Location to Make the Most of Your Canadian Rockies Adventure

Girls Weekend 2018 in Canada - was an absolute blast and a breeze by staying here! The planning process was easy with great input from Donna on what to do/where to go in the area. She was super easy to contact and aided in our planning process of how to make the most of our trip.

We are so glad we stayed in Canmore vs Banff, not only was Canmore more affordable, it was also less congested with tourists compared to Banff.

Canmore has so much to offer in itself as well - great restaurants, coffee shops and shopping downtown - all of this just a couple minute drive from the rental or a 15 min. walk.

We recommend visiting Rocky Mountain Bagel Co. for delicious bagels and coffee.

The Wood Restaurant had the best food of our entire trip. We wanted to try Crazyweed for dinner but the reservations fill up fast so make sure to make them in advance.

Canmore is just a short drive to Banff National Park - we were able to experience so much with minimal time in the car, like Johnston Canyon, Tunnel Mountain and Lake Louise (a little longer of a drive) to name a few.

Our rental was perfect for the six of us girls. Plenty of room for us, cleanliness was perfection, pool and hot tub were great too! The beds were comfy, showers were nice, kitchen was stocked with essentials like plenty of wine glasses :) Upon arrival we went to the grocery store down the road and grabbed snacks and beverages for our day hiking trips - it was perfect to be able to prep in the kitchen and then hit the road in the morning. We did not make any meals at the rental, but it is definitely equipped with anything and everything you would need to do so. There are also a couple grills out by the pool to use as well! The pool/hot tub area is right out the back door of the rental and was SO great to use after long days of hiking.

Mountain views from the King size bedroom, air conditioning, quiet neighborhood and just a homey atmosphere all around.

New construction down the road towards Canmore, for a lot more stores and restaurants coming - that will be a quick walk to in the future!

All 6 of us highly recommend booking with Donna - you will not be disappointed and your time in Canmore/Banff area will be one you will never forget.

We cannot wait to come back that way someday and experience even more of beautiful Alberta and all of the National Parks.

Reservations require a 14 day advance cancellation for 25% deposit refund in low season, and a 30 day advance cancellation for deposit refund in July/August and Christmas seasons. We will consider full refunds in the event of emergencies and/or try to re-schedule your stay.
