This is a studio apartment in a duplex cottage located on our family farm and is located in the countryside and surrounded by the scenic rolling hills of Petaluma. It is a small, simple and beautiful place to relax and refresh. This peaceful space is fully furnished and has a Murphy bed in the main room and a full bathroom with a clawfoot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and some spices.

The cottage enjoys Northfacing light and there is a shaded porch out front with wicker lounge chairs. A garden surrounds the cottage, plus you’ll be right next to our small vineyard. We also have a flock of sheep and some chickens living out on our land, as well as a motley crew of dogs and cats.

To welcome you when you arrive, you will find a loaf of our freshly baked bread, butter, a few farm eggs and fair trade coffee beans and cream (all local and organic). And if it’s the right time, you may smell some artisanal bread baking in our woodfired ovens. You’ll also be greeted by a colorful bouquet of our fresh cut flowers.

From the cottage, it is only a 5-7 minute drive to both historic downtown Petaluma and US Highway 101. Downtown offers bustling small restaurants, World Class wine from the region and locally crafted beer.

Petaluma is a hub to most of the attractions in the area. To the west it is an easy and scenic drive to the pristine Northern California coastline (30 minutes to Bodega Bay, 40 minutes to Point Reyes National Seashore). To the east you will quickly find yourself in the heart of Sonoma’s Wine Country (30 minutes to Sonoma, 40 minutes to Napa). There are stunning Redwood forests up north (50 min to Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve) and it is an hour drive south to San Francisco.

We love it here. We hope you will too.

spent 3 days on the Weber farm and what a fantastic experience. Everyone was so welcoming, the bakery was beyond words... Our accomodation was pertfect in every way, I will stay there when I return to Petaluma. Very peaceful but close to town.

Great Place to stay! My 5 year old daughter and I stay every summer for a week. Very family friendly, relaxing and easy. The fresh bread, farm eggs, and cream are a bonus.

Brought a couple girl friends one weekend and we had a blast. Great location to everything. A farm feeling 5 minutes from Downtown and the freeway.

Delightful cottage

  • 4 of 5

It was a pleasure to stay at one of Petaluma's many farms: quiet, pretty and in earshot of sounds from sheep and roosters. While competitive in rates with a hotel, the cottage offers so much more. The kitchen, especially, was very welcome and quite functional. I did feel a lack of personal contact, since the owner never met me in person and there were no other people on the property while I was there. As a single woman I felt a little isolated, though the cottage location is really quite close to town. I'm sure I would feel differently in summer and I plan to return. One suggestion: please install a clock!
