Lovely newer waterfront house with private dock and pool in a quiet residential area. The beach is at 1 minute drive.

Modern kitchen and open floor plan. The bedding consists of 3 Queen size beds with the Master separated from the other two bedrooms. Completely new furniture and furnishings with state of the art electronic equipment. TV and DVD HD, high speed wifi Internet , Ipod & I-phone station player.

Gas BBQ, Big swimming pool, deck chair, outside dining area, garden furniture, dock with direct access to the ocean.

Enjoy the beach, Cruising on the canal, Go to a nice restaurant in front of the beach, Play Golf,Tennis, watercraft... Charter a fishing boat for the day, Picnic on the beach, BBQ on the house garden, make shopping in Florida's largest malls, Theme Parc Orlando - Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studio, Visit the everglades with the Airboat.

Important: The mentioned price is the low season rate. it is different depending on your dates and number of person.

The local tax of 6% are add at your rental, this tax must be paid at the check-in.

Use of the pool heating is free but beware, if you use it, you will have to pay gas consumption: $ 2 per unit.

Beautiful Property!! Everything was as advertised!!

The Iguana House was perfect for our group!! Phillipe is a detail oriented owner with excellent communication. Jaime Castoro was a pleasure to deal with. She met us on arrival and departure. Highly recommend this Property and would stay there again in the future!!

Sewer back up leads to an unpleasant holiday

The home was exactly as advertised. Well situated, well decorated, clean (save for the carpets) and with competent property management.

We were surprised when we realized that the home had no essentials most VRBO renters are accustomed to in the better managed homes on the site. 3 rolls of toilet paper for a family of four (more on this later) were provided…and that is it; no cleaning supplies, dishwashing soap/liquid, garbage bags, paper towels or laundry detergent. We were later told that the supplies provided were in the contract. This policy clashes with the reality that many who fly into the area may not have the opportunity to stop by a grocery store prior to check in. In our case, we landed on the 24th, so getting to a store to get these supplies was a challenge…after we realized we had to go back to the store and buy them. The cost was a meaningless $22, but the hassle on the 24th was, as they say, priceless.

At this price point, we expected some, of if not all, of these necessities to be included as they were in all our previous VRBO rentals. This short-sightedness lead to a problem that could have easily been avoided by providing these basic supplies.

Because of the lack of toilet paper, our 10 year old son used a square of paper towel instead one early morning. We were later told that it lead to a sewer back up through out all the showers/bath tubs in the house.

We alerted the owner and the manager of the situation right away and a plumber was dispatched in a few hours. We were promised a cleaner, but were left to clean the mess ourselves. A few days later, we were billed $180 for the plumbing service call.

We find the lack of malice that lead to the mishap, combined with the admission on the part of the owner that the plumbing pipes were “probably smaller” does make us wonder why we were expected to pay for the service call. We can only wonder if this was a pre-existing plumbing flaw that was known by the owner yet undisclosed to us. The carpet stains in the master bedroom leading to the bathroom suite lead us to believe this was not the first time. We are not plumbers, so we will never know for sure.

In closing, we do not believe the home is worth the price point demanded given the lack of holiday essentials and a short-sighted penny pinching policy on the part of the owner. This was our first negative experience renting a holiday home through VRBO.

Owner's Response: We are sorry that you were unhappy with being charged for a plumber’s work. As to the plumbing clog and smaller pipes, perhaps there is something lost in translation. This house is up to county code for all systems; however, placing paper towels in a toilet will cause a back-up. Continued flushing to try and clear the clog makes the situation worse. The plumber did not report that one paper towel was in the line, there were enough to clog the line. We understand that you are unhappy and it is not our intention to punish you but the security deposit is provided to protect every property owner against these types of damages. We rarely collect for damages. Accidents happen but this was something that was preventable and you are placing blame on the owner after being in the house for almost a week. The contract does not guarantee any paper or food products in the house. The housekeepers are instructed to make certain that there is toilet paper in each bathroom upon guest arrival. Once in awhile, this is missed but you wrote that there were three rolls of toilet paper in the house for two bathrooms. Oftentimes, products are left by guests. Non-perishable and unopened food as well as paper and kitchen cleaning products are left in the unit for the next guest. It is unfortunate that this did not happen during your stay.

Very nice accomodation.

Holliday was super very nice home, all Ok weather was good, pool was super.

We enjoyed it and if possible we will return.

Amazing home, clean, comfortable and private

Having never been to this area of Florida, we found this property after some searching on homeaway and it could not have been more of exactly what we were looking for.

Emailing with the owner and the rental process was great, he was very reponsive. Jaime the property manager was very easy to communicate with, as was her associate, who made checking in/checking out a simple pleasure.

All areas of the home are well appointed, very clean and quite comfortable. A wonderful fruit bowl was there for our arrival. Plenty of linens and towels, kitchen was stocked and the outside living area was well kept.

Things to note: don't forget your paper goods/cleaning supplies - paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, dish soap - and be sure to ask JaI me about any scheduled maintenance for the housecond (namely landscaping).

Thanknyou all for a wonderful vacation. We would/will completely rent this home again and would recommend it to anyone looking to vacation in the area.

Wonderful home - Exceeded our expectations !

The Iguana house was well suited for our family. It was just as beautiful as the pictures. Nice floor plain, lovely decor, high end kitchen appliances, clean and many amenities! The outdoor space which included the pool and dock area is such a wonderful asset to the home. We rented paddle boards and paddled down the intercostal canals. We barbecued and enjoyed dinner al fresco. Pompano beach is a short car or bike ride. We were fortunate to have met Bob and his wife and shared a very good bottle of French champagne - Thanks Bob. Jamie the manager of the property was knowledgeable, friendly and gave us some insider recommendations on restaurants. We would definitely recommend this rental and plan to return.

Four of us stayed in this home. It was in exceptional condition and the pool area was gorgeous. The weather did not co operate as it was cool and cloudy. That said I still got into the pool a couple of times and golfed 3 times. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone as our every expectation was met. Jamie the person who looks after the property for Bob is wonderful as well she is a great help if you have any questions.
