This sea inspired condo at Monterey has something that most vacation rentals do not – views of the Gulf from every room! Whether you are in the well-equipped kitchen or one of the comfortable bedrooms the picturesque views are spellbinding. Also, since Monterey rests directly on the shores of our precious Gulf you can experience clean white sand between your toes anytime you like. Then there is always the option of floating in the Monterey gulf-front pool all day!
Apart from excellent views, the condo itself is so cheery with its sunny yellow walls and mermaid and lighthouse décor. It’s almost as if it’s saying “welcome to vacation”! A beachy chic décor along with an open floor plan and plenty of dining and seating truly create an air of comfort. Plus a private furnished balcony wraps around the southwest corner letting you enjoy endless hours of dolphin watching while in the shade. The living room not only offers endless Gulf views but also provides a large flat screen television for those movie and game enthusiasts.
The master bedroom opens up to the balcony and it features a king size rod-iron bed, flat screen television, double vanities in the bathroom and even a Jacuzzi garden bathtub that also views the Gulf. You’ll find a laundry room next to the kitchen and anything else you could need just down the road in quaint Seacrest Beach.
During Spring and Summer this condo requires a 7-night, Saturday to Saturday stay. Any other time we require a 3-night minimum stay.

Beautiful Seacrest Beach area
This unit is bright and airy with spectacular views from the windows and balcony. Everything you need is there. There is space for friends to gather as well as room for privacy when you would like some. Any minor issues were dealt with quickly by Newman-Dailey. We are returning next winter for sun and sand.
Great location, beautiful views! 4 stars because kitchen was not well stocked. Only 4 spoons so we had to keep hand washing them. And be prepared to bring everything! There is usually a salt and pepper shaker and coffee filters at other high end condos but cupboards were bare!
The location and overall property is fantastic. Very private beach and pool area well-maintained. This was our third stay in this complex and the first in this specific unit. The bedroom layout is as-advertised and the unit was appropriately cleaned. Linens and furniture were functional.
The reason for the 3 stars:
a) the kitchen was very poorly equipped. We only had one very dull chopping knife to prepare meals with and two small bread knives (serrated edges) not suitable for chopping veggies or cheese. There was no cutting board and literally not a single dish (like corning) with a lid or a single piece of plastic wear to store any food in the fridge. If I stay here again I would bring some of my own kitchen supplies --
b) the master bedroom closet light had some sort of short and at times we had to locate clothing in the dark.
c) a few hooks in the bathrooms would be great to hang damp swim-suits or cosmetic bags given limited counter space
d) the clothes dryer was missing the lent filter and therefore took forever to dry towels -- several hours for one small load to dry (3 beach towels)
e) the broom needs to be replaced and there was no dust pan -- it would have been nice to be able to help protect the owner's carpets by sweeping sand daily which I typically do at the beach
f) I would suggest bringing bed pillows as the ones in the unit were not high quality (more like cushions than pillows)
This may sound picky but as the area is a bit upscale I would have expected a bit more in terms of the amenities in the condo. Overall we had a lovely vacation and I would choose this condo again if another was not available in the complex. Working with the property management company was seamless and they provided great customer service in all of my dealings with them.
We stayed at Bliss and had a wonderful stay. Our son got married at Alys Beach and Bliss was a very convenient location to everything we needed. The owners were wonderful and very helpful. Now we love Bliss wine!
NIce property for the price. Attractive beach decor. TV and internet worked well. The only drawbacks were they didn't have any extra supplies other than toilet paper and some paper towels. So you need to bring anything extra with you or go buy it. The other comment I have is it was very quiet and peaceful but a long bike ride into Seaside.
