Apartment has hardwood and granite floors, high ceiling, bright unit, facing Broadway.

It is located on the second floor of a walk up building.

LIVING ROOM features a large TV(Direct TV, HBO and Cinemax), DVD player, leather sofa, armchair, large table that seats 6 and another table with 4 bar stools.

MASTER BEDROOM equipped a queen size bed, 2 night stands, dresser with a mirror , closet and a storage space.

SECOND BEDROOM equipped with two single beds, 2 night stands, dresser with a mirror, closet, and a storage space.

Pullout beds are available upon request.


KITCHEN is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances: microwave, stove, toaster, as well as utensils, glasses, blender, plates, pots/pans and coffee maker. If there is anything in particular that you need, just ask I will try to provide it.

Payments are accepted via HomeAway. Full balance is due 30 days prior arrival. Reservation confirmed once deposit is received and rental agreement is signed.

Location and Comfort are Top-Notch!

We (four of us) stayed here for six nights and LOVED the accommodations. Anna was very attentive and was always available when we needed her. The location was great; within walking distance to the train, a 24-hour grocery store is right across the street and there are some great restaurants within a 2-3 block walk. Dunkin Donuts is right across the street, but if you want REAL sweets, try Bakeway, just a few doors down from the apartment. The carrot cake...amazing!

Back to the apartment. It is a long walk up some steep stairs, so keep that in mind if you are not able-bodied or are lugging heavy luggage. Consider this fair warning. The building is very secure and clean and we felt quite safe. Other than the occasional siren and the normal street noise (Broadway can be a little noisy), the building itself was VERY quiet.

The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. One bedroom has a queen bed and an en suite bathroom and the other has two twin beds. There is a bathroom off of the kitchen. Both have bathtubs/shower. The shower head in the main bathroom was broken, but that was pretty minor.

The AC units were all operational, which we were very grateful for, after coming in from some 80+ degree days! The one in the master bedroom was a bit noisy, but you get used to it and are grateful for the cool air!

The apartment came with great amenities: shampoo, conditioner, soap, lots of cleaning supplies if you're someone who likes to keep things clean and tidy (like me!)

I really have nothing negative to say about this apartment and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Astoria. Keep in mind, parking can be an issue, if you drive in (like I did) - with alternating street sweeping, it can be a bit like "musical parking spaces" until Friday; then the weekends are good-to-go (no street sweeping).

A very accommodating hostess!

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment because we really love it! The location is perfect because the neighborhood of Astoria has great restaurants, bakeries, and seems very safe. This is also a great location because there is convenient access to Manhattan via the subway. Anna is an exceptionally accommodating hostess who goes out of her way to ensure that our trip is just perfect!

Fabulous Location - Functional Apartment

This is our second time to stay in one of Anna's units. Prior to this trip, we spent 7 weeks in the 3rd floor unit (with orange couches). This time we spent a week in this unit and a week in the other 2nd floor unit (pink and black couches). We changed units because of availability and Anna was great about meeting our schedule.

As before, the location and pricing of the apartments is fantastic! The Broadway station on the N and W lines is a short 5 minute walk and there is a grocery store on the same corner. The neighborhood feels very safe, though there is a fair amount of road noise at night. The wall AC units help to drown out the noise.

The apartment lay out is good -- two separate bedrooms with decent beds (1 queen in the master and 2 twins in the second bedroom). The kitchen tools are sufficient, but limited. I only cooked breakfast and reheated left overs.

My only complaint is the noise from the AC unit in the master bedroom. It sounds like something in the unit is loose, so it has a rattle / whine that pulses when the compressor runs. Anna was very apologetic and gave us two standing fan units to use. It wasn't unbearable, but it wasn't right either. She was unable to have it fixed while we were there, but she was responsive and wanted to make it right for us.

Will we stay here again? Yes! The location and price cannot be beat. It's not perfect, but it is what we need for our vacation. Thanks Anna!

Great Find!

We loved staying in this beautiful, welcoming apartment. Situated right in the heart of Astoria, it is a short walk to a variety of great restaurants. Anna is very responsive and helpful. We hope this place will become our home away from home when visiting our new granddaughter!

Perfect layout, great area. Noisy late night and early morning as well as VERY loud AC

This place is perfect for 2 couples as the 2 bedrooms are separated by the living / kitchen. The only complaint I have is the noise. All this place needs is new AC and much better insulated windows (2 sets of windows would cut the noise down dramatically). If I stayed in NYC again I would find a place that is quieter (this unit's bedrooms face Broadway which is a 2 lane street each way).
