Perfect Property, Perfect location.

  • 5 of 5

As an employee of HomeAway I travel frequently and have stayed in dozens of properties across the United States, this 5-Star property on Royal Street is by far the most alluring property I have stayed in. From the freshly polished silver to the beautifully manicured French courtyard every spot of this property was absolutely stunning.

The booking process itself was made very simple by the owner of the property, once we arrived the house manager (Who lives nearby) was extremely helpful guiding us to parking, answering any questions we had about the property and area, and was willing to help us with any problems we encountered during our stay, she made our time at the property truly one of a kind.

Once settled in, just exploring the property was like going back in time. The beautiful piano, elaborate furniture and decorations, this property is a true reflection of old time French Quarter aristocracy. Very clean, very well maintained.

The large French courtyard was in full bloom and really complimented the property well, there were plenty of chairs for company and a great back drop for small events. This property is located right on Royal St, 1 block from the Bourbon St. and within walking distance to all activities and restaurants in the French Quarter. It was an amazing experience relaxing in the formal living room listening to the foot traffic of the locals on Royal St. The property comes with a very large marble antique bar complete with ice maker, bar stools, bar accessories like shaker cups, coasters etc. Great conversation piece and area to have a drink in.

Beautiful kitchen, lots of room, large island, large refrigerator. Great covered back porch area with rockers and couches that lead to the courtyard.

The pictures really do not do justice for this property; it is something you must see in person to really get the full experience. I would recommend this property to any family or friend planning to travel to New Orleans, my expectations were blown away

Thanks for sharing your home with my family, we had a great time!

Picture Perfect Setting!

  • 5 of 5

This house was a picture perfect setting for our wedding! We rented the entire property (all 3 rentals) for our wedding weekend, and we, our family, and our friends had an incredible time. The picturesque courtyard, the beautiful decor, the amazing location—all make this home second to none. The house manager, Ina, was kind, responsive, and amazingly helpful, too.

The convenience of venturing out to explore the city on foot, watching the horse-drawn carriages clip-clop past the front windows, savoring an evening cocktail in the shaded courtyard—it's a true New Orleans experience that we'll never forget and hope to visit again. We visit New Orleans often, but have never had an experience quite like this. Truly special.

Amazing home in the heart of the French Quarter! You won't be disappointed!

  • 5 of 5

A group of six women recently stayed on the first floor of the house and in the adorable cottage in the back to celebrate a 50th birthday. It is a wonderful property and in an excellent location. We walked everywhere that we went and felt safe at all times. This home is beautifully decorated and the new bathroom recently updated could be in architectural digest it is that gorgeous! The host Samantha was awesome to deal with and most accommodating and attentive to our needs. Her property manager Brittney was so helpful as well with any requests like airport transfers, assisted with a plantation tour upon arrival, water at the rental when we arrived etc.(for a small fee). She was so helpful, friendly and offered suggestions of hot spots to go to etc. If you need a limo either for an airport transfer or other sites Randall was the best! Professional, friendly and always on time. There is so much to see and do in NOLA that we did not spend a lot time in the rental but our favorite was every morning sitting on the back patio attached to the main house. Plenty of room for a large group like ours and coffee shop near by, CC's, to relax and plan our activities for the day! I highly recommend this home if you are coming to NOLA! The location is the best in the heart of French Quarter but off a little so not horribly loud. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Ready to come back as there is more to see and do! Thank you Samantha and staff for a wonderful visit to your charming and fun city! Kim and girls.

Amazing Stay!!!

  • 5 of 5

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this house. The location is perfect. We were within walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. The house is spectacular. Great décor, great art, and the rooms were more than large enough for a single person/couple. And the house manager, Ms. Ina, is simply divine! She is a truly great host who goes above and beyond the norm when it comes to VRBO or Air B&B hosts. She was gracious, professional, and a true lady. The beds were comfortable, the house was spotless, and the courtyard is serene. I can't say enough about how great this property is. 5 out of 5 stars and I will be booking this property again when I return to New Orleans!

Heart of the French Quarter, New Orleans at it's Best

  • 5 of 5

On a recent girls weekend we stayed on the first floor of this wonderful home. Everything was perfect, from the beautiful décor, chef's kitchen, comfy beds and luscious courtyard. This is one of the several times I have stayed in this home. Each time I return, I love it even more! In the mornings, enjoy your coffee on the quiet, secluded back porch overlooking the beautiful courtyard with it's blooming flowers, luscious greenery and a lime tree loaded with fruit, excellent with a sip of Patron. The home is lavishly decorated and has all of the modern conveniences but still maintains the beauty of the era it was erected. The location is perfect and allows easy access to everything in the quarter, while providing a safe, quiet retreat to rest and recharge. One of my favorite things is to sit on the stoop of the doorway and visit with folks walking by, locals and visitors alike. You will surely end the day with engaging conversations and new friends. As the carriages pass by, this home will be one of the historical topics for the tour guides to colorfully introduce to visitors. I cannot say enough good things about this home. We will be returning in October to celebrate the wedding of our daughter in the private courtyard with our family and friends. This is a true New Orleans experience and I assure you, you will not be disappointed! As for the owners, Bob and Samantha, they are the kindest, most accommodating hosts you could ask for. True southern charm, spectacular accommodations and an experience you will never forget. I can't wait for our next visit!!
