Before becoming hosts, we were guests just like you. Three years ago, we chose this home and then custom built this Suite to meet our own high expectations. Today, we continue to provide outstanding 5 star service as we have for more than two hundred satisfied guests.

The Suite is luxurious. It has 2 Bedrooms with premium queen size beds. The kitchen has upscale appliances and is very well equipped. The bright, spacious and cozy living area includes a full home digital media entertainment system. On-site parking is available. Awesome Location!

We loved the apartment and the neighborhood is outstanding! The metro is very close and there is no pressure to leave the area as there is plenty to do. Great shopping and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Delightful Place to Stay

We spent a week in this condo in July of 2015 and we were delighted to return for one more week this July. The interior features a stylish contemporary decor with tasteful accents throughout giving the condo a polished look. The gourmet kitchen has been equipped with side by side refrigerator, gas range, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of cookware for at home convenience. Just bring your laptop and plug in for excellent reception. The beds are extremely comfortable. This condo has plenty of living space. We highly recommend it and we will be returning for another week of July 2017. Our hosts are very accommodating.

Home away from home

This is the second time we have rented the property and once again it has been great. The location is perfect for people who love public transit with the Runnymeade subway stop just a few blocks away. As runners we loved the fact we could get to High Park in short order. We definitely will be back. Our only suggestion is to have blinds in the kitchen to block out the early morning sun along with heavier curtains in the bedrooms.

Great value, beautiful accomodations

The suite was exactly as pictured and described. The beds were excellent, appliances new and luxurious, the apartment perfectly clean, and the neighborhood quiet and attractive. There were very clear instructions for everything in the suite and a great map of the neighborhood. We needed to do laundry and that was easy and convenient. It was a short walk to the subway and to beautiful High Park. We appreciated the way our host met us at the beginning of the stay but then did not intrude in any way. We were very comfortable and would seek out this property on a return to Toronto. Here are some very minor issues that may be important to others who might be affected more than we were: There was some confusion about which parking space to use (upper suite had taken the one assigned to lower suite). Upper suite was occupied by long-term renters, a family with small children, so there were a couple evenings when there were lots of footsteps and once some crying overhead at a time when we wanted to relax, watch television, etc. No problem at all during sleeping hours and we were mostly out of the suite during daylight, so this affected us very little. Using the television, Netflix was supposed to be available but it called for a log-in. We're sure our host would have fixed this immediately, but we were not interested enough to pursue it. Host asks that A/C not be set below 77 degrees, a bit warm for our taste, and it doesn't really reach the back bedroom, though it definitely dehumidifies the entire apartment. The weather during our stay was such that we could open windows and A/C did not really matter much and we slept comfortably every night. The shower is pretty small and might give a person with limited mobility some difficulty. Again, all of the above issues were tiny and we would definitely recommend this property to others.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your input Steve. Not unlike a hotel, sometimes neighbours are a bit noisy. We try to be family friendly, and this family returned home after their renovations completed at the end of the month. We have been successful in our soundprrofing but heavy footsteps sometimes get through. There was a bit of musical parking spaces during your stay but fortunately, we have not had anyone stuck without parking. We would have liked to have known about the Netflix login as we had to reset it with the following guests as is necessary with from time to time with these types of services. As always, we try to be just a phonecall away. Hope to have you back soon!

Excellent accommodation in every way. This property was a real gem and we will certainly return and thoroughly recommend to others. Very high standard of property with everything needed for short or long term let. Owners so helpful and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay perfect. Bloor West village is great. Restaurants shopping and subway 10 minutes walk away and only 15 minutes walk to beautiful high park and 30 minutes walk to the beaches on Lake ontario. In the winter, an artificial ice rink is operated to the north of the Pool for skating and ice hockey. The hiking paths are maintained for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Tobogganing is terrific family fun for people of all ages. The hills are at Howard Park Avenue and Parkside Drive.


Shakespeare in the Park »

During the summer, the Canadian Stage Company puts on a selected Shakespearean play in the park's amphitheatre in an annual event called 'Dream in High Park', popular with Torontonians. The 2012 play is A Midsummer Night's Dream. The amphitheatre is on the hill side directly to the east of the Grenadier Cafe.
