About Adam Jacobstein
I live in San Francisco, California, and love to visit the Big Island when I can. This home was built by my brother, also the manager of the property for his family in 2007.
Adam Jacobstein purchased this House in 2007
Why Adam Jacobstein chose Volcano
Hale Apapane was built by Adam Jacobstein, the owner's brother, and was his family's home for 6 years before they moved off of Hawaii Island. It has been very carefully designed to take advantage of the surrounding landscape, with large windows, and enough room for a big group to feel together in the open living space, but still have separate areas upstairs. The furniture is all high quality and it was decorated with a purpose in mind.
What makes this House unique
The house is large and open inside. It has special artwork from local artists and photographers. It hace hot tub, a swing in the yard, and a large covered carport for playing basketball or hanging out.

Lovely, clean, spacious
Thank you for a great experience. Lovely property. We had a wonderful weekend.
Glad you enjoyed yourselves! I hope you'll come back sometime.
Very comfortable house
Enjoyed our stay. We are a multigenerational family and the house was perfect for us.
Volcano is an amazing natural environment and Adam ‘s House is a perfect complement to the beauty of it. The craftsmanship of the house is outstanding and truly a wonderful experience!
Great proximity to Volcano National Park. Peaceful, serene setting.
Cool nights required use of the wood burning stove. Lots of wood and supplies ready to go, made it easier! Needed to go to Hilo for groceries - we typically ate in for breakfast and dinner. Kitchen well stocked and planned. We loved the opportunity to hike Volcano multiple days, being so close to the park. Paid the entrance fee that gave us access to the park for our entire stay (3 days). Highly recommend Adam’s beautiful home!
Lovely modern house and great location to VNP
Stayed here last week and was really impressed by this house! Beautiful construction, well maintained, perfect number of beds and baths, great kitchen and dining table for 6! The laundry facilities were a huge plus after spending a week in Maui without any. Can't beat the location to Volcano National Park.
Comfortable and clean for family visit!
My family had a wonderful cozy Thanksgiving weekend in this lovely home. We live on the warmer west side of the Big Island and Enjoy the cooler, more seasonal weather of Volcano for the holidays. With plenty of dry wood for the wood stove and a clean, well maintained hot tub, the house was a great place to stay for the cold, rainy weekend. The kitchen had the basics one needs for casual cooking and my granddaughter loved the swing in the backyard. Hikes and the National park were only a few miles away so plenty do in the area. We will definitely consider this home agsin for our annual Thanksgiving Volcano holiday!
We are located one mile from Volcanoes National Park and . 5 miles from charming Volcano Village. Restaurants, art galleries, and a farmer's market are all nearby.
