Located behind an historic home on a private alley. Super charming, clean, located in quiet, lovely neighborhood. Two queen beds, WiFi-Google Fiber, and UVerse cable HDTV with premium channels, shower, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker.
Back yard pool, cabana, and hot tub are available to guests for an additional $300.00 per night. No parties or hanging out in backyard outdoor pool space unless previously agreed to by owners. A waiver must first be signed.
MUST BE 23 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. Younger people must be accompanied by their parents. NO SMOKING IN OR AROUND THE APARTMENT.
I moved to Austin in 2012. The previous 30+ years were spent in Houston working as marketing director for such companies as Aetna, Prudential, and Rice University. Professionally, Houston was a wonderful place for me. Personally, Austin has been spectacular. Wish I had gotten here a bit sooner but thrilled to be here now! I think most people who visit Austin for a few days will be drawn to the same alluring, delightful and eclectic people and places that pulled my heartstrings to this crazy town.

Home was built in 1936. We purchased it from the original owners and have renovated and restored this very special property in one of Austin's best neighborhoods

From the moment I drove my rental car up the driveway lit by a string of lights, to the lovely queen bed where I slept like a rock, I appreciated being able to afford a wonderful location like the studio. The cute loft with the second bed looked like a good place to hang out although, busy as I was, I didn't try it out, nor did I make the walk to Congress, but drove to Lucy In Disguise for excellent shopping. There are stairs up to the door, which require some strength to haul a big ol' bag to the studio. The proprieter was helpful and easy to talk to. I would stay here again.
Perfect location. The place was very well kept and clean. It's in a quiet neighborhood yet still so close to bustling SouthCongress st. I would definitely stay there again.
Couldnt have been happier with the place. Was there for ACL this year and will be back next year. Great price, great place!
Laura was extremely accommodating and always kept me well informed. Very clean and well maintained property. We would stay here again for sure.
My only suggestion would be for this place to have its own "dedicated" wifi service versus relying on the main house service as we found the service spotty at best. Secondly, South Austin is hilly in many spots and this location in Travis Heights is one of them. Property has a very steep driveway so some vehicles may not be able to access the property. My point here is that if you have any type of mobility disability this location could be a major challenge so please keep that in mind.
Had a great time at Laura's home. She is responsive and helpful. I was upgraded to a nice 1 bedroom apartment because the AC in the garage apt wasn't working. Thanks for the great stay!
Our family really enjoyed the apartment, recently redone with style, lots of light, privacy and in a great neighborhood and location in town. Close to everything, including walking to the riverfront walkways/bridges on the south side of Lake Austin. Everything was in good condition and thoughtfully prepared.
Located in one of Austin's oldest, historic neighborhoods, close to downtown. Many large, heritage trees and beautiful homes. Stacy Park is 2 blocks away with Blunn Creek greenbelt, swimming pools, tennis courts, and nature trails. It is a lovely walk through the neighborhood to Congress Avenue for great restaurants, shops. Very close to historic Austin music venues as well as new clubs.
