Kings Point is located on the southeast shore, near Great Cave and the blow holes at the end of the island. It is quite private and peaceful. There are currently eight townhouses in the complex with plans for another eight units, management office and living area, fitness centre, diving centre and other possible amenities. Our unit is approximately 1400 square feet with two bedrooms and a pullout couch, to accommodate up to six people. The unit is solidly built with cement walls and ceilings, completely hurricane-proof. The downstairs floors are double glazed Italian porcelain while the upstairs is carpeted. The bathroom hardware is brushed nickel. Kitchen countertop is granite. From the kitchen, living room and both bedrooms we have views of the ocean and the bluff.
We have four Hunter fan/light units, one in each upstairs bedroom, one in the living room and one in the kitchen. There are other nice light fixtures in the dining room, kitchen, etc.
There is a cut into the ocean, with stairs, directly in front of KP to allow for easy access into the water. There is a swimming pool, lots of lounge chairs, a jetted hot tub, hammocks, gazebos, barbecues, wash sinks and hangers for dive equipment. Check with management for free bicycle rental.
In our unit, #335, our Master bedroom has a king-size bed with four king pillows.
Back/spare bedroom has a queen-size bed with four king pillows.
Queen pullout in the living room has four queen pillows.
There are plenty of linens and towels, including large beach towels.
The kitchen is complete with every appliance you could need. We have a fridge with automatic ice and water dispensers, stove with ceramic top, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a washer and dryer, an iron, full size ironing board and two clothes-drying racks.
We have a programmable coffee maker, blender, hand mixer, griddle, toaster, kettle, food processor and crock pot. As well, we have dish & cutlery sets for 8 people, lots of pots and pans, baking supplies, lots of Pyrex and Corning Ware, glass and plastic bowls, lots of glass and plastic drinking glasses as well as a 12-piece set of glass wine glasses. There is also a cooler and jug for your picnic pleasures.
The dining suite comfortably sits 6 people with an additional two bar stools at the kitchen counter. The living room has a sofa, chair, two end tables with lamps, coffee table and entertainment centre with a 40” television with Blu Ray player. There are a variety of games, constantly expanding library of videos, puzzles and books for your rainy day pleasure.
There is also a small plastic table and four chairs which may be taken out on the patio or balcony.
We also have a cell phone in the unit, for your use while staying in our unit.
Minimum rental is ten days. Rate for 10 days is $1900. Rate for two weeks is $2600, three weeks is $3000. Rate for one month is $3600 US. CI tax of 13% is added to all rates under 6 months. Water, electricity and wifi are included in this rate.
Rentals of 6 months - 12 months is $1500 USD plus utilities. Wi-fi is included. Tax is not required.
Rentals of over 12 months is $1400 USD, including wi-fi. No tax required. Utilities not included.
Refundable damage deposit of $500 USD will be collected (and hopefully fully refunded) on all one month rentals. One month rent will serve as your damage deposit for rentals of 6 months and over.
We are licensed by Cayman Islands Department of Tourism and as such, do collect and remit the tourism tax of 13% on all rent only, for rentals of under 6 months term.
