About the property

Estate, 5 Bedrooms 3.5 Baths, (Sleeps 9-11)

Welcome to Ingleton! Relax by the pool. Fish or crab or picnic at the end of the pier. Do all three. Go biking. Go hiking. Go boating. Visit historic St. Michaels, Easton and Oxford. Watch the sunset from the Adirondack chairs at the water's edge. Eat. Shop. Play golf. Play yard games. Play board games. Play with the kids. Or do nothing at all.

Our newly built home on 2 ½ acres is the perfect spot for your next family vacation. Fabulous water views from nearly every room. Wake up, grab a cup of coffee, relax in bed and just gaze at the water. Or take your coffee outside and sit in the Adirondack chairs, or out on the pier, for a really close up view.

When you are ready to start the day, if you want to do more that just sit by the pool, take out the list of activities we’ll give you. Places to see, things to do, easy bike rides, challenging bike rides, shops to visit, restaurants to try. Your days will be full.

If you are not from the area, there are easy day trips to Annapolis, Washington, D.C., and the beautiful sandy beaches of Maryland and Delaware. But it may be hard to find the time because you can easily fill your week without going more than 15 minutes in any direction.

We have two bikes for your use. The terrain is flat and the biking is easy. If you have a boat, you can get to our pier by water up the Miles River, or by trailer to a boat launch about a mile or two from the house. We provide two double and three single kayaks. It's an easy kayak across the sheltered waters to an undeveloped island and beach directly behind the house.

Our house is perfect for one or two families. There are two master bedrooms with king beds and private baths. There are two more bedrooms (queen bed in one and twins in the other) with private baths. There is an upstairs family room that sleeps two (Great Views!) and a first floor den that sleeps two more. The dining room sits up to ten comfortably and the modern kitchen makes it easy to cook for a crowd (or heat up the leftovers from some of the area’s great restaurants).

We provide linens and towels. The kitchen is fully equipped. We welcome dogs as long as they are trained and babies even if they are not. We ask only that you treat our house as you would your own. It’s not just a rental; we use it all the time.

We think you’ll love Ingleton. We certainly do.

Relaxing Winter Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Six of us stayed at this gorgeous waterfront retreat Inauguration weekend in January 2017 to enjoy some time away from Washington's hubbub. The home is wonderfully situated on the Miles River waterfront. It has huge picture windows throughout and beautiful dark hardwood floors. It's perfect for a group like ours or a family as the rooms are a nice, large-ish size with firm matresses on the beds and lots of blankets and comforters if it's cold. We cooked up several family-style dinners and the kitchen had everything we needed in terms of pots & pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, etc. We can't wait to go back when it's warmer and use the pool and kayaks!

Modern, spacious new house with beautiful, wide water view, incredibly responsive owners!

  • 5 of 5

So grateful to the Goldbergs for making their lovely Easton waterfront home available! Everything worked, of course, as the house is almost new - large great room with high ceilings and windows, all spaces clean and very well maintained throughout. Fully equipped kitchen, screened porch, pool (which we didn't use because we rented for the Holidays in December), garage - peaceful, large vistas throughout the house of Hunting Creek and through to the wide Miles River and even a bit of St. Michael's shoreline. Can't wait to return!

Christmas 2016

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home with sufficient room and equipment to make it a perfect location to spend our Christmas weekend. Very well supplied with everything we needed. The view was beautiful. The kayaks were appreciated by the younger members of our group.

Beautiful Home

  • 4 of 5

The house is beautiful and has all the amenities you might need. We had issues with the A/C and the owner responded quickly to get it repaired. The pool was beautiful and we spent most of our time in it. Unfortunately we weren't able to swim in the river due to the many jellyfish and stingrays there. (I think I read that in the reviews I saw before we went.) The crib that they provide was not suitable for use - bring a pack n play! We had 10 family members - from infants to adults, and the house worked fine for us. Lots of seating, beautiful views of the water.

Owner's Response: We provide our guests with both the same standard size porta crib and the same pack and play that our grandchildren use. (We also have a high chair.) As for the jellies, like our guests, they enjoy spending a bit of their summer in the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.

Great vacation

  • 5 of 5

This is an amazing house. Every room has a beautiful water view. There is also a screened in porch that views the water as well as a beautifully landscaped pool. The kitchen is amazing with all the amenities you need. Also the restaurants and shopping in the surrounding areas are 5 star. St Michaels is nearby and wonderful. I will recommend this vacation home to my friends and will also plan to have a family get together there again

The definition of peaceful

  • 5 of 5

"This is the definition of peaceful." That's a direct quote from my wife on our first day at this wonderful home. This is not the commercial Airbnb stop. It's a tastefully decorated cozy home with lots of space to accommodate nine adults in great style. The community spaces are many...there are five different places to have a meal or play a game. There are quiet places to read or meditate. Kayaking is fabulous right off the stairs. We took short trips poking around and longer adventures over to St Michaels or south towards the bay. Power walking in the neighborhood was a joy. The kitchen accommodates lots of people cooking. The equipment is basic but adaquate. Views are better than the photos. There is good shopping in Easton about 10 minutes away. Favorite restaurants were Awful Arthur's, The Crab Claw and Porto Fino. We had Green Chef ship meals diectly to the house and that made for some fun evenings cooking without the hassle of menu planning and shopping. We had from 2 -9 adults over twelve days. We highly recommend this rental. Minda and Steven were friendly and responsive hosts.
