Overview

Shenandoah Valley House Rental Photos and Description

4 bedrooms, 3 baths, sleeps 12 - big jacuzzi tub, chef kitchen, Wii & KINECT!

Welcome to Antlers Crossing -- a beautiful log home with soaring beams, luxury furnishings, and tons of entertainment options for folks of all ages!

Walk up to the house through a path of lavender. The great room features a large, antique gas log fireplace, leather sofas, comfy armchairs, high ceilings with gorgeous wooden beams. A rustic dining room and gourmet kitchen are nearby -- the kitchen has granite countertops, luxury stainless appliances, beautiful custom cabinetry, and is stocked with everything you'll need to cook for your guests. A deck off the dining room features a seating area and a large Weber gas grill for cooking out.

Two first floor bedrooms each have a queen bed (one with Westin Heavenly bed mattress) and share a full bath with an extra large tub and shower. There is also a closet with a washer and dryer.

Head up to the second floor and find the gorgeous master bedroom suite featuring a pillowtop king bed, vaulted ceiling, reading area, and a large flatscreen TV with a DVD player. It has a luxury bath with a high-end BainUltra jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and dual vanities. A loft on the second floor has a 50' HDTV with premium cable, a Sony Nintendo Wii with games for family play time, and a bookcase with a variety of books and movies for all ages.

On the lower level you'll find a large rec room with a full-size pool table, a super comfy poker/game table, a big screen tv, an X-Box Kinect play area, and lots of boardgames. A fourth bedroom on the lower level is a bunkroom style kids will love. It has 2 bunk beds made of logs - each one has a twin bed over a full bed. This bedroom has a 3rd full bath.

The lower level has a second deck -- this one, like the one off the dining room, overlooks a small seasonal stream. Relax and watch the many birds and deer in the woods.

This log home is located inside the Massanutten Resort and very close to many of the activities and amenities -- we're only about a minute by car from most of them.

We provide linens/pillows for all beds. When you arrive you will find they are all made up for you, ready to go, unlike many rental homes in the resort. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and serve meals -- just bring your food.

We also provide a pack-n-play and a high-chair in the house for those with babies (bring your own linens for pack-n-play), and we have a full closet of toys for infants, toddlers, and young children, so you don't need to bring too much with you.

In the summer, we provide a Guest Pass so that our visitors can use the private Owners Swimming Pool in the resort - just up the road.

Non-Smoking, No Pets Property: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property (outside or inside). And although we understand that many pet lovers travel with their furry friends, this home does not allow pets.

About Monica

The owners are natives of Pennsylvania, but now live outside Washington, DC. They wanted a place to get away and relax, and love that the resort has so much to do all year long.

Monica purchased this house in 2010

Why Monica chose Shenandoah Valley

It's a real log home, with wood all over. It feels like a ski resort or a mountain getaway should -- different and serene. You know you're in a special place right from the moment you walk in the door.

Best place to stay at Massanutten

  • 5 of 5

Looking for a really great place to stay at Massanutten? Well don't look any further. I was planning a weekend skiing with my sons and grandsons, and wanted a close-by location. What a surprise!! This cabin was gorgeous, and fully equipped. Being surrounded by logs gave us a warm and relaxing place to return to each evening - the perfect place for conversation after a day of skiing.

Great weekend trip.

  • 5 of 5

This place greatly exceeded our expectations. The house itself was very roomy, comfortable and had plenty of entertainment for all ages. All the outdoor activities including skiing, mini-golf, zip-lining, go-karts, etc., we're less than 5 minutes away. I highly recommend this place and would most definitely return again.

Had everything we needed and more!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Antler's Crossing. The home was wonderfully set up for 3 couples and their children. The basement was perfect for the kids to play while the adults enjoyed conversation in the main level. There was plenty of the little things like dish soap, hand soap, Tupperware, to make it have all the conveniences of home with out having to lug it all in. The beds were all very nice and comfortable, but I would plan to bring your own pillows. Some of them were a little hard for our personal taste. No sound machine is needed when you can sleep to the sounds of the babbling brook behind the cabin. Every night was great nights sleep. The only downfall of the cabin is that sound is easily carried between all of the rooms, so don't plan on many private conversations in the cabin.

Cute house with great amenities

  • 4 of 5

It is a cozy house. It was super clean and well taken care of. Loved the fully stocked kitchen, Wii and XBOX games. House has everything u can think of. The only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars, because sound travels well throughout the house. One can hear every single sound from every single room. Aside that, every thing was perfect for our stay

Comfortable & Well-stocked

  • 4 of 5

Antler's Crossing location is THE BEST for a Massanutten vacation. Close to all the resort amenities. The house was beautiful and had everything you could want in terms of kitchen supplies, games, household products (though I know this isn't guaranteed), videos, etc. Loved everything about it except with all the beautiful wood, there is no cushion for sound. You can here just about every noise and activity others are doing. This could be good and bad depending on your children's ages. Anyway, if you don't need a ton of privacy, you will be VERY comfortable. Owners are amazing to work with as well as the contact they have at the resort if you need anything.

Mountain home with lots of amenities!

  • 5 of 5

We took our family of 5 plus the "Nana" to Massanutten for a 4 day spring break trip and had a wonderful time! The resort was a lot of fun for our 3 young boys and the house was a perfect size for our family of 6. The kitchen was fully stocked with more then we even needed for cooking and the beds made it a comfy stay for us all! The creek behind the house was a peaceful reminder of how nice it is to get away from the craziness of the city if even only for a few days! The boys enjoyed all the electronics that were provided and we enjoyed playing games on the game table and billiards later in the evening. The resort has a lot to offer families so we kept busy every day with fun activities and created lots of lasting memories. It was a great way to spend our spring break! I had a few houses to choose from in the resort and glad I chose this one!!
