4 bedrooms, 3 baths-big jacuzzi tub, chef kitchen, Weber grill, Wii-U, Xbox
The owners are natives of Pennsylvania, but now live outside Washington, DC. They wanted a place to get away and relax, and love that the resort has so much to do all year long.
Monica purchased this House in 2010
Why Monica chose Massanutten
It's a real log home, with wood all over. It feels like a ski resort or a mountain getaway should -- different and serene. You know you're in a special place right from the moment you walk in the door.

Great short stay in the mountains!
Check-in was very easy. Home has 3 levels which was perfect for our multi-generation family to spread out in, giving everyone a little personal space. Our young grandkids loved the swing on the front porch. Gas fireplace was so cozy on a cool fall morning. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking breakfasts and dinners. Lots of amenities at the resort, and everything was within a very short drive. Great cabin in the woods!
Antler Crossing saved our vacation!!!
We were on vacation in Outer Banks when Hurricane Dorian cut our beach trip short. We remembered driving through Shenandoah Valley on our way there so we decided to finish out the rest of our trip in that area. Antler Crossing is a beautiful home with a beautiful mountain view. While we found several things to do in the area, our kids would have been fine if we never left the house due to the abundance of games and toys. Owner, Monica, is amazing as well. She gave me her cell number and told me to contact her if there were any issues or if we had questions. She was super helpful throughout our entire stay. So glad these Kentucky folk found Massanutten; hopefully one day we will make it back to these mountains. Until then I’ll be sipping on my complimentary coffee cup and reminiscing on our trip!
Lovely cabin in the woods
Cabin was just as described and picture. Entire place was spotless and one of the most well stocked rental homes I’ve ever stayed in. Perfect location if taking in resort activities. Owner was very responsive.
Fun for all
This house is as advertised, roomy and clean. Loved all the extras previous renters ( or owners) left to share. Having the finished basement was the best part of our stay. The kids were thoroughly entertained, we had many pool tournaments and card games. Just keep in mind, noise travels easily throughout the home , there is no pantry or a place to keep the food you brought, and it is in the woods, so it’s “dark” inside. Better (brighter) lighting and a place in or near the kitchen to keep the groceries would be perfect. Thank you for sharing your home:)
24-28 July Family Stay
Excellent stay. This home has everything you will need to enjoy your stay. Look forward to another stay in the future. Thanks, Monica.
Exceeded our expectations
We recently had 8 adults stay in this mountain home. There was plenty of space for everyone to have privacy. The kitchen was equipped to accommodate groups much larger than ours. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. Even though it is in a resort, the large wooded lot provided much privacy. Sitting on the upstairs back porch for coffee each morning, we saw deer and a variety of birds. We would definitely stay here again!
Other Activities: Massanutten resort has mini-golf, go carts, hiking, tubing, snowboarding, waterpark, ziplines, horseback riding, bumper cars, rope courses for kids, and much more!
