As a highly experienced rental property owners, my wife Tracy and I have nurtured a keen focus on attending to all our guests' and tenants' needs by ensuring that their experiences exceed their expectations. This is evidenced by our villas' numerous 5-star ratings and repeat visits from many of our guests.

To add our personal touch, we personally oversee the management of our villas but also have a highly attentive and locally-based property manager who we carefully selected given his strong track record for caring for all our guests needs both prior and during their stays.

Not only do we take pride on offering the most amenities within our villa, but we also are happy to offer the most competitive rates within Legacy.

Our ultimate goal is for our former guests to recommend us to their friends and family for future vacations given their hopefully highly positive experiences and memories from their recent stays.

Why Neal Collier chose California Desert

As historic property enthusiasts, we were drawn to the Legacy Villas for their unmatched execution of early 20th century architecture in a stunning desert location directly adjacent to the Santa Rosa Mountains. We were also very taken by the designer-friendly interior finishes, fixtures and furniture that created a true cozy southwest ambiance.

Furthermore, the close proximity of various local events, from widely acclaimed music festivals, nationally-rated sports tournaments and myriad other film and arts festivals made this an ideal destination for year-round vacationers such as ourselves.

Lastly, as active vacationers, our family loves taking full advantage of the warm desert climates by swimming in many of the 12 pools the resort, entertaining guests on our private verandas and exercising in the state of the art fitness center.

Best Location with Maximum Privacy and Light: Both the living room and king master bedroom open through charming french doors onto private verandas, where the aromas of surrounding bougainvillea complement romantic evenings of al fresco dining or wine tasting under a canopy of stars. The dual master suites each contain en suite bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and stall showers.

What makes this condo unique

We were drawn to our "Tradition Drive" Villa given its optimal corner location, which is close to many of the 12 resort pools, but far enough away from the main entrance for maximum peace and quiet.

Our lower villa unit was also ideal to us as occasionally we have guests who have difficulty with stairs and also prefer direct access to the beautifully manicured lawn and landscaping that is directly adjacent to one of our villa's three private patios.

As we love entertaining outdoors with our friends and family, the private patio off the dining area has a gas barbecue which can be used while watching our children entertain themselves on the expansive lawn.

The single car garage parking was also very appealing to us and our friends who travel to La Quinta during the warmer times of year. There was also plentiful street and unmarked guest parking.

After we purchased our villa, we made sure to add all new luxury mattresses, kitchenware, linens, towels, new HD electronics for the living room and bedrooms along with many other creature comforts to upgrade the experience for our guests.

Villa was clean, well stocked and in a great location.

We stayed here over a quick weekend. Three adults and four kids ranging in age from 5-14. It was easy to walk to the big main pool. An even closer pool was just across the street.

The beach entry and cabañas at the main pool were great for our group.

We cooked meals in the villa and had everything we needed.

Looking forward to another trip back!

*neighborhood is close to shopping center including a Trader Joes!

Excellent Properties with all the amenities.

This is second time in 3 years that we rent this properties for our weekend or vacation getaways. The Property owner Neal Collier provided us one of the best properties in Legacy Villas with great amenities. We had all the instructions necessary to get into property and using it including property map how to get there, what kind of amenities are available and how to use them, extra places to go nearby. Property was well cleaned and maintained. Property gas grill was out and he was kind enough to respond very fast and it was taken care off. He was always available to contact with. Great Person and customer service. I got there with the recommendation of our relative and I will do the same to tell my friends, coworkers and relatives about this properties. We didn’t go out much since we brought our food with us and stored in refrigerator but there were lots of stores nearby to do your shopping. Overall this was a great weekend for us and we had a very good time and we will certainly return for more.

Perfect location for coachella

We loved the accommodations and location. Neal was great to work with - responsive, reliable, and straight forward. The home was clean and was stocked well with all the necessities. The location wasn't too close to the main pool and not too far of a walk, just perfect. The main pool had a DJ everyday which was a nice touch. It's a short drive to coachella. The area seemed safe and we often saw security at night. We plan on returning next year! Maybe I shouldn't rave so much about the place. ;) thanks Neal!

It felt like home nestled next to the mountains in La Quinta.

Visiting this spring with the family, and with each of us preferring our own bedroom and bathroom, this property was great. We enjoyed that the property has swimming pools, hot tubs and walking trails. One evening we cooked a lovely dinner and the kitchen provided everything needed. We enjoyed the Fisherman Market close by along with a host of other restaurants. Our family loves the desert and will be returning.

Everything about this place was spot on and great!

The property was clean and well decorated. It felt like a high end hotel. The big seller for us when looking at the condos for rent was the layout of the unit. This one was perfect for my husband and I to have the second master and third bedroom for our kids at one end of the condo - with my parents able to have the master bedroom at the other end. The sense of privacy within the unit was exactly what we needed. And a major bonus was the pack and play for our youngest. This was one of the few units I came across that advertised they had one on site. That alone saved us from having to travel across the country with one and was the main reason I booked this unit. On top of that, Neal, was excellent to work with. We had no issues getting into the condo or any of the pools. And the communication leading up to our arrival was great. I never worried that we wouldn't be able to get in or that something might be missing. Thank you for such a wonderful first experience in La Quinta! We'll be back!

Perfect home base
