Lands End amazing all around
We had a fabulous stay at Land's End condo! A week ahead of time the company emailed stating the balcony repairs had gone over the scheduled time (not their fault, happens with repairs). They offered to give full refund, find us another spot or give us a percentage back if balcony was out of service. We opted for last option in hopes we would have use of it. No luck, except on last night. They stood by their word and refunded a percentage. Workmen were friendly, as was everyone there.
Condo was super clean with everything you needed, and then some! In looking at a map it appears you have to cross a street to get to the beach, not the case, we crossed a parking lot only. Lands End is the last building literally on the corner of the canal and beach. The pool was Devine with great shade options through out the day.
Lots to do around towns and meals were amazing (when we opted to go out: highly recommend the Salty Dog).
Towels for showering and pool were great to have, might I suggest a few more pool/beach towels. There were 4 of us and we kept rotating bc we didn't want to bring Sandy beach towels to pristine pool area (we flew to FL so we didn't pack our own towels). Maybe color code towels, white for showering, green for beach and blue for pool (or something).
Busch Gardens and Adventure Island water park were great day trips (combine your pass purchases to save big) and Rays baseball one night ($2 kids tix on Tues.).
Absolutely loved our entire trip!
We hope to return! Thank you!
Bldg 4 unit 301
I gave Brandon a list of things that needed to be done. The blinds and a new paint job have been an ongoing concern. The work being done on the building was very loud and annoying during the last half of our stay. We couldn't even carry on a conversation.
4/301 Lands End
Just had a week at the Lands End complex. We loved it here and would definitely return. The apartment had everything you would expect (along with sun shades and chairs for the beach which were a Godsend)! The crockery was a little "hotch potch" and mismatched but we weren't there to cook! The view was a little hampered by the tops of the palm trees, but this didn't stop us sitting with a beer on the patio and watching dolphins and manatees swim by! The condo could do with a touch of paint here and there. The facilities on site were spotless (pool etc). The beach was approx. 150 steps away and Lands End was a great location to explore Treasure Island and St Pete's beach! We loved walking along the coast to Caddy's bar at the top and playing Corn Hole on the sands!
Everything lived up to our expectations and was exactly as described. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again!
We stayed from June 24th to July 1st. The condo has everything you should need, kitchen utensils, towels... We loved it. the view for sunrises were awesome since we both are early risers. Shade on the balcony in the afternoon made it very enjoyable to watch the boaters and fish, and to enjoy the music from the bands across the intercoastal.
Upon arrival, a rep from the company came in for an inspection and found the garbage disposal not functioning and fixed it on the spot! Beautiful place and great company to do business with. We are looking forward to our return visit in August.
Lands End Treasure Island
It was a fabulous week! The accommodations were outstanding! It was everything they said it would be. This is our second year and planning for next. Great location. We had a blast!!!
