Everything about this condo and location were amazing!!!! ( only problem we had was really bad weather - didn't stop raining our whole trip and we never got to the beach :( ) However that aside - this was not the fault of the property and it was exactly what we expected. Yes you are on the second floor above the tiki bar - but you are also facing what would have been the most beautiful view ( if not for the weather) and the fact that you are near the tiki bar is probably why the price is so reasonable - We cannot wait to return to this paradise... Its small but was PERFECT for my husband, myself and our teenage daughter
I wish I could give this property a 5-star review, but can only give it a 3-star review. The condo itself was well-stocked and had a great beachfront location, but the being on the second floor directly over the bar and pool area was a definite downside. Three out of the four nights we were there, there was music and bar noise until late. One day, there was a large party that started at noon and continued with some of the partygoers yelling, cussing and carrying on until at least midnight. The on-site staff did not seem bothered by it. If this condo was moved to the top floor, it could possibly warrant a higher rating. It was nice that it stocked with beach chairs, towels and umbrella, but the umbrella needs to be replaced. The sleep sofa could also use a memory foam mattress pad, as it was a little uncomfortable for multiple nights. Treasure Island was lovely, and I would love to return, but I do not think I would return to this condo.
This property was affordable and in a great location. The room has lots of space for two but can sleep up to four people. The view was outstanding and the kitchen had everything we needed. I wish we had known there were beach chairs, an umbrella and a large cooler in the closet for our use, as we dragged these things all the way from Michigan. The addition of a broom to sweep up sand would be nice.
The pool is very crowded with very little deck around it, but the beautiful beach made up for that.
The only problem was a paint crew with a scaffold that started every morning at eight and was right on our balcony at different times of the day-quite an unpleasant surprise when walking into your room-some notice would have been nice.
We stayed here last minute the week of Thanksgiving 2015. It is an efficiency, with one QS bed and a full pull out couch all in the same big room as the chair, TV, table, chairs and kitchenette. It sounds really squished, but it was a long room from the opening of the door to the sliding patio doors which take you on a PRIVATE balcony overlooking the pool area and straight onto the beach. The place was clean and pretty modern. Sure it could have been more modern and bigger, but then we would have ended up at a large hotel paying everything from high rates, parking, "resort fees", etc., etc. Here, we paid one price and got a great, comfortable, clean condo sitting right on the beach. The little Tiki bar by the pool is really relaxing too. The people that work there a whole lot of fun. I highly recommend this unit for an affordable, enjoyable getaway! It was EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR!!! Thank you. Hope to stay here again.
This unit was very nice for the price. The room was supplied with linen, towels and beach items. The views are amazing can't beat it, steps away from the warm sand and water. It is well kept and nicely decorated. The room is right above the tiki bar We enjoyed going down and grabbing some drinks. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The building itself can use some updating. But over all we enjoyed our stay. It's location is walking distance to the market and restaurants.
The rental has many updates, but definitely not the bath tub. It's so old that the finish has worn off, the caulk is discolored and there are broken tiles. If you just need a place to crash while you hang at the beach, this unit is fine. If you are looking for a quality resort and a 3 star room, this isn't it.
