This 2 bedroom / 3 bathroom unit is fairly new to the Kona vacation rental market, and one of the nicest units Kona Pacific has to offer. There's plenty of room to spread out, so bring another couple...or the kids!!

This is a perfect place for your honeymoon or family reunion with its easy access to the Kona Coast, where you can swim and snorkel with sea turtles. While the property offers parking for a vehicle, you're only a 10 minute stroll to town and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Outback Steakhouse, Kona Coast Resort, Bubba Gump Shrimp, and the locally famous Huggo's Restaurant Bar/Grill are just around the corner. This south-facing unit is close to everything but without the city noise!

The unit comes complete with a washer/dryer, flat screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms, cable TV, DVD, and stereo. The kitchen is fully stocked with the appliances (including rice cooker and crock pot), dishes and cookware needed to whip up your favorite meals. A dishwasher and ice-maker are included in the kitchen appliances.

Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds with flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms. The unit also provides a pull-out queen-sized sofa bed in the living room, and a full 3rd bathroom off the kitchen. All linens are provided, as well as a cooler and beach chairs for your excursions to the beach.

The unit has A/C in both bedrooms, which may not be needed -- thanks to 5 ceiling fans (3 inside and 2 on the lanai). There are 3 sliding glass doors to access the lanai -- one from family room and one from each of the bedrooms. The lanai also offers outdoor seating and an eating area.

Kona Pacific is one of the few complexes that has an elevator, and there are a limited number of rentals on the property, which makes this unique and quiet location. Please note that this is a COMPLETELY NON-SMOKING COMPLEX. Reserved parking is provided.

The property has a beautiful pool and club house, complete with microwave and small fridge. The pool deck has 3 gas grills..nothing like the smell of a BBQ!

Why Blake & Wayne chose Kona Coast

In making our decision to purchase this unit, we investigated all of the condominium complexes along Alii Drive and the Kailua-Kona area. We found this property to be the best located (a short walk into town but without town noise) with great on-site property management, well maintained (and immaculate) grounds, a beautiful pool, underground parking (keeps car cool) and new tile/paint/elevators throughout the common areas.

Ability to walk to the Luau at Kona Resort, short stroll along waterfront to great restaurants, close proximity (walking distance or short trolley ride) to local beaches, short drive to Kona Coast beaches and grocery shopping.

Wonderful Place to Stay and Visit

We stayed here during the first week of July 2017. We were very pleased with the cleanliness, decor, and spaciousness of the condominium. The 3rd full bathroom was a nice luxury. This is a really fine place to stay and relax.

The unit is within walking distance to bayfront shops and dining. It is very near the Royal Kona Resort.

Blake is one of the owners and he took the time to write an extremely detailed message with recommendations of things to do, places to see, and places to dine. We ended up doing many of things on his list.

On our next visit to Kona, we would stay here again because the owner was attentive and showed us great hospitality.

This was an awesome place to stay at! Plenty of space and all the amenities one could need.

The place was clean and had a huge balcony (lanai) for hanging out on in the early mornings/evenings. It also came stocked with all different kinds of things one would need while in Hawaii. (Snorkels, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, bug repellent, coolers, etc...) it fit its description and more, so I'm absolutely pleased with this place, and will be looking to use this place again on my next vacation to the big island!

Beautiful apartment, within walking distance restaurants, beach and a great Luau.

We were two couples travelling and we found the apartment met all our needs.

We could walk for meals at multiple restaurants, enjoyed a Luau down the road or will the facilities in the apartment have a meal there.

Great condo with all the comforts of a home

Location: This condo is walking distance to many of the Kona restaurants and coffee shops. You'll need a car to do the adventures and beach days but that is true of anywhere you stay on the big Island.

The unit: this condo made us feel like we were visiting a family member because it had all the comforts of a home. We stayed for 9 days. The owners thought of everything. It is a good sized condo with a full kitchen (with detergent tablets for the dishwasher, a clean washing sponge and soap - they thought of all the details!), all utensils, everything you need for the beach (4 chairs, beach towels, kids toys, a couple snorkeling sets). We stayed with another couple (4 of us total) and it was great to have the dual master with each of our own full bathrooms. The deck is well furnished and we spent most of our time at home out there. The in unit laundry added extra convenience. Everything was clean when we arrived. The community pool was also very clean. It does get warm in the condo but the fans and the ocean breeze help to cool it down, and we did use the AC in the bedrooms at night. Be aware that with the humidity the front door sticks a lot so you have to really put your shoulder into it to get the door open.

The owners: on our first day in Hawaii Blake touch based with us via phone to ensure everything was to our liking and to provide any recommendations. This was thoughtful even though they live on the mainland. They made a binder of recommendations for the condo, and provided a copy of the Hawaii revealed book by Doughty for the unit. These 2 things were very helpful in planning our adventures. Be warned that the Hawaii Revealed book is slightly outdated but you can check out the book's websites for the updates.

We really enjoyed our stay, this unit was a great decision and we would definitely stay again the next time we come to the big Island.

fun work trip

We have stayed here the past few years and love it! First Blake and Wayne are great with communication and super nice. The condo is in a fabulous location and makes walking to town easy. The view from the lanai is beautiful, making it hard to focus on my computer work while working out there at the large table. The furnishings are comfy and the condo is very clean and tidy. If Blake and Wayne are ever thinking of selling this place let us know! Hint hint!

Miss It Already!

The condo was described perfectly and worth every penny. I didn't realize it was on the 6th floor and I thought that might be a hassle, but the elevator is close by and it sort of made us feel more secure. The area is great for walking to the local shops and restaurants. I wished it was a little closer to the pool, but it's a short walk. My daughter stayed in Bldg A which is right next to the pool so we hung out there a lot! The condo is equipped with everything you need for cooking. There are also beach chairs, beach towels and blow dryers so you don't have to pack those! Lots of sunscreen has been left behind (we contributed). Recommend packing light because you'll want to buy souvenirs because the area has lots of great shops it's hard not to pack something back for everyone!
