Why Brandon M. chose Faubourg Delassize

If you want to be away from the action, yet still have it be extremely accessible, then this is the location for you.

What makes this condo unique

Our off street parking gives you piece of mind. Parking tickets start at $40, and parking in the French Quarter can cost you more than that nightly. The St. Charles streetcar line is less than 1 block from the condo. For $1.25 you can quickly get to the French Quarter or uptown towards Tulane and Loyola Universities. Travel has never been more convenient!

Guestbook comments from the owner

I'm so glad we chose to stay here instead of in a hotel. The owners were very helpful and the space was very clean and cozy - more like staying at a friend's house than a hotel. It's steps away from the Fresh Market, where you can buy organic groceries and cook some "real" food while on vacation. It's also a few steps from the Louisiana stop on the St. Charles Streetcar line. Getting to Magazine Street, the French Quarter, and the Audubon Park were all very easy from this location. We also loved just walking around the neighborhood and checking out the old mansions, Lafayette No. 1 cemetery, and the beautiful gardens. The next time we come to New Orleans, I will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Great location, great property!

  • 5 of 5

We love this vacation rental for so many reasons. It is in a great location for walking over to Magazine Street. Close to Fresh Market and several bars. Owners are responsive and very gracious! Stayed a few times now - we love this property.

The perfect place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

The unit is just like it shows in the photos...clean, comfy, and well equipped. It's only a short walk to St. Charles streetcar, good restaurants and upscale grocers. We loved that we could get away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon St. and yet get there easily. Brandon and Louisa are a terrific couple and responded immediately when needed. I'll be telling all my friends about this "Gem".

Nice place to relax after partying

  • 5 of 5

Brandon communicated very well. Place was clean on arrival. Great location. Recommend the St. Charles street car or Uber/Lyft to get around. Only negative was it was pretty cool the weekend I stayed and the thermostat was password protected so it got kinda cool overnight. Thanks for letting us stay in your condo! Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to crash in New Orleans.

Clean place in good location

  • 5 of 5

This place was the perfect spot for my husband and I. We loved walking around the neighborhood with the beautiful historic homes and dining at the lovely restaurant commanders palace just down the road. Was very close to magazine street which had some great restaurants and bars. We were happy to be close to French Quarter but far enough to be a little quieter. French quarter was a quick Uber away or a hop on the trolley which is a block away. Overall we had a great stay! Brandon was very accommodating and was very easy to communicate with ;)

Perfect Location - Comfortable Condo!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Brandon & Larissa's Garden District condo the last week of September 2017. We loved it! The location is perfect for everything we wanted to do and the bed was so comfortable! The condo is located one block from the St. Charles trolley. For 40 cents a ride (senior rate) we went to the French Quarter twice, the World War II Museum (fabulous), and many fine restaurants, music venues, and museums. The condo is located a block from a fine grocery and about 6 blocks from Magazine Street where there are restaurants and shops. We spent a total of $4.80 for transportation the three full days we were in New Orleans. In the late afternoons, we loved to walk in the Garden District where there are many beautiful old homes and mansions. The condo was stocked with everything that we needed for a very comfortable stay. Brandon and Larissa are extremely knowledgeable of New Orleans and gave us many fine tips of where to eat, what to see, and what to do. We are so pleased with the accommodations and the attention that Brandon and Larissa provided. If you are traveling to New Orleans, this is the place to stay.
