Quiet and restful.Owners are just the best! This would be a great honeymoon cottage. This was our second visit and I am sure that it won't be our last. The lake is beautiful.Highly recommend this cottage.
My wife and I stayed at this beach house for 5 days in September.
This rental is very good value for the money.
Very roomy 1 bedroom cottage, fully equipped with everything you need.
Excellent location at the waters edge. Only 5 minutes into town and restaurants.
We enjoyed a bottle of wine in the evening while sitting around the campfire and watching the stars.
Fishing was good, Weather was amazing. Grape festival was a lot of fun.
Enjoyed the local restaurants and wineries.
We will definitely stay here again.
Owner was very accommodating and helpful.
What a beautiful little cottage nestled along the lake! My husband and I spent the Memorial Day weekend here celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The weather was perfect and the view from the patio was just wonderful. Although I had planned many things for us to do during our stay, we were more than content to just sit and relax and enjoy the view of the lake. The cottage was perfect for just the two of us with plenty of room and very comfortable. The cottage is well stocked with everything you would need, extremely clean and well maintained. The caretakers (a lovely group of sisters) have made sure your stay is a very pleasant one! The town of Naples is just a short drive from the cottage and offers many charming places to eat and wineries to visit. We enjoyed our time there and had wished we had been able to stay longer. We will definitely be back, maybe for a long weekend during the fall to enjoy the foilage! My thanks to the Gotham Girls for their hospitality and for making our anniversary one we will always remember!
This spot on the lake is fantastic. The cottage is right on the water and is great for swimming, fishing and boating. We loved waking up in the morning to see the sun coming up over the hills. Truely a peaceful vacation. We had never been to this end of the lake before, what a difference! The place is owned by several women who are all sisters and quite charming; now if we can just remember which one is which! You'll want to return every year like we do!
We've stayed here many times, usually for several weeks in the fall when the colors are spectacular. We love the peaceful setting in a small cove at the south end of Canandaigua Lake where there is very little boat traffic. Friends have commented that "it's as if you have a private lake" because it's so quiet. We bike the country roads (lots of hills!), hike thru the gullys to enjoy lots of waterfalls, kayak, fish, etc. The area has so much to offer! The owners of the cottage are very attentive to details - everything is always well tended and there are rowboats and kayaks for use.
We have recommend this property to friends. We have stayed at this location for approx 7 years and each time we have had a very pleasent stay. The swimming is clean and weed free. There has been a row boat and canoe available for use. Life jackets are available. If you are a fisherman, we hear and see fish jumping day and night - bring your pole. The pictures accurately describe the property. We have always come to a clean cottage. The owners live in the area and have addressed any issues quickly and to our satisfaction. The golf course in Naples is unique and we would recommend trying it out.
We would highly recommend renting a power boat to tour the hundreds of lake homes.
Very quiet and peaceful, clean and kitchen is well stocked for everyday use. The freezer is a standard refrigerator top size unit. The grocery store in Naples has everything you might not bring.
Jet ski's require a boating certificate in New York and are not rented.
There are two restaurants on the lake by boat.
