Charming cottage right on the lake!
Cozy, charming cottage with 180 degree views of the water. Generously appointed. Loved it!
So happy you enjoyed your stay. The view is spectacular. We are glad you found it comfortable and cozy.
Such a nice place to relax and unwind! Thank you for sharing Opal's cottage!
Third time renter
Opals fit our needs perfectly as we were able to also rent the nearby Gem Cottage which allowed us to have sufficient space for our extended family. It’s not modern but comfortable and with the high Lake Michigan water levels we had to seek alternate beaches. A sunset every night, easy access to Manistee, Ludington and other attractions filled our week.
From the time we entered the cabin until we left, we all felt like it was our very own family getaway. We had a great time. The cottage was very well stocked. The screened in room was awesome. The sunsets were spectacular. I would recommend it to anyone.
Quiet and Pleasant view over Lake Michigan.
Convenient and well equipped for comfortable stay. Wood interiors provide feelings of warmth. Almost all windows face the lake. Separate Little House up some steps provide opportunity for people- talk and sunset views. Fairly short ride to cute downtown Manistee.
Nice house directly overlooking Lake Michigan
We had a very pleasant stay here. Lots of beds and space. We were five adults and had more than enough room.
House is directly on Lake Michigan with direct views of the sunset from the living room.
No direct access to the lake at the time we were there (May 2019) as the stairs were damaged. Even if they weren't though; the water level was so high that there was no beach down there anyway. However, the Lake Association is a five minute walk away where you can access the beach.
Would stay again.
