I was born and raised in Duluth Minnesota and moved to San Diego in the late 80's. Last spring I purchased a 60' Catamaran and decided to keep it docked in Key West. My brother and I are planning to offer day charters on the 'Dream Catcher' at some point. We have a log lodge style cabin on a lake in Duluth, (HomeAway #297421) that keeps us busy with vacation rentals as well. I still enjoy spending time in Minnesota and California but have the most fun in Key West.
Celeste Gosselin purchased this townhome in 2011
I looked at a number of properties to buy and was fortunate to be the first person to see this unit and bought it immediately. This is a really nice resort, well landscaped, on the water with a small marina, relaxing, close to town but away from the hustle and bustle associated with staying in Old Town and room to breathe. I like having a dedicated parking spot and plenty of open parking for visiting guests. The resort was built in 1997 but this 2 unit townhouse was built in 2005 and well constructed. I also like having the Boathouse pub just a short walk to the dock with Darts, pool table and very reasonable beer and wine.
Easy access to the water, close to Smathers Beach, short cab ride to Duval Street and Casa Marina but very peaceful and quiet. Close to the airport, shopping centers and a wide variety of activities, many within walking or biking distance.
Things are going great!!! We love the condo! The bed is soooo comfortable I could barely get out of it. We had a great time last night. Went out and had a late dinner at the Half shell, shopped for a few groceries and hung out at the condo. The hot tub and pool were amazing! Temp is perfect and we love the quietness of the resort and condo. We stayed up late sitting on the deck. Mike was really nice and helpful as well. We love your knife set, don't be surprised if you can't find it! Lol. Jk. Don't see the cooler....
If you are seeking a nice and quiet vacation home on Key West for a fair price you can find it here. We have enjoyed our stay in this nice and friendly resort. Everything went really smoothly and Steve has provided us all the informations needed and was always available for questions. It was our third stay on Key West and for us this was the best vacation accommodation we had.
A wonderful experience in Key West. The Townhouse is beautiful, very well equipped and maintained. The property and pool is very clean and inviting. We had a great experience and would gladly return. This unit is outside the tourist section, but the bikes made for easy access to everything. We rode to Duval street and walked the circuit of the island three times. Everything about this vacation was top notch and I highly recommend it to anyone who has Key West on their bucket list. Starbucks is about 1 mile away in the lobby of a hotel, it made for a great walk every morning. db
This rental was exactly as described. The place was well appointed, clean, quiet, and the bikes were a plus.
This tastefully decorated and spacious "cottage" was perfect and then some!!
The location , on the outskirts of the town of Key West was away from traffic and easy to come & go from.
Use of the pool was a nice addition as were the laundry facilities.
There was a nice bike path that was easily accessible and the bikes were a fun addition !
Absolutely amazing! Quaint yet spacious, it was the perfect spot for my husband and I to honeymoon at! Tucked away and cozy, yet still very easy to get to downtown. We loved it!
Steve has done a wonderful job with this property! It was amazingly clean and had everything that you would possibly need. The property has a pool right off the deck and then there is a dockside bar where you can get drinks, rent kayaks, bikes and get a great view of the inlet right off the ocean. Just sitting down and having a few drinks on the dock was better than the aquarium - stingray's, jelly fish, etc. You can even kayak over to the salt ponds from this location through the mangrove's and it's just stunning. Having the bikes with this property really makes it. Every day, you can take a beautiful waterside ride to Duval street... passing Smather's beach or maybe you don't make it that far and you just crash on this white sand beach every day.... in either case, it's wonderful! I would definitely say here again!
There are a number of local activities, restaurants/bars and sports rental businesses nearby. Too many to list so best if you do a search on google maps or other search engine. The office staff would be happy to book something for you and have a large display of local rental and site seeing offers.
