I am a history teacher. I teach 6th and 7th graders at a local private school. I have three grown sons... my youngest, who is 27, just left to start a PhD program in Colorado.
I have played a major role in the renovation of this home... from tearing down walls of the old galley kitchen to sheet-rocking, painting, and installing the floor. I like to see how an older home can be transformed into 'new' again.

This home is located in a quiet, well established neighborhood. It is close to major streets which lead to the interstate, Albuquerque's west side, and east towards the tram.

We enjoyed our stay at this property in Albuquerque hugely! The home had every amenity we could have wished for and was so comfortable. It was very hot while we were in Albuquerque but the house stayed nice and cool with the cooling system they had. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook and bake with. It really was a pleasure to come home every evening to this house, we will stay again for sure and I have already recommended it to some friends who live in a nearby neighborhood and often have guests coming to visit who need lodging.
We have stayed at several VRBO properties in Albuquerque over the past 2 years. This property was the best (overall) for our needs. There were four adults and one toddler in our group. We had plenty of room to cook in the kitchen, relax in the living room and, ultimately, sleep in the bedrooms. The location is ideal for our purposes (visiting family and friends). The house is tastefully decorated and, thankfully, not over-decorated. We have also stayed at VRBO properties in other cities and it is always nice to have enough room to put your stuff without having to relocate numerous decor items. Tina was lovely to deal with and very accessible and accommodating. We will definitely try to stay there again!
We stayed at the house on Rough Rider In Albuquerque which is owned by Tina Gibson. The whole experience was very good. The house was attractive. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped. The patio in the attractive garden was s pleasant place to eat breakfast. The washer and dryer worked very well. The supplies in the house were useful. The people we were visiting in Albuquerque kept Ms. Gibson's brochure that gives the property history.
We would recommend the property to other friends and relatives.
This house is located near the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Park. A must see during October, the Balloon Fiesta brings people from all over the world.
Additionally, Albuquerque is home to the 'World's Longest Tram'. This house is located 10 minutes away. Ride the tram to the top to take in the views of Albuquerque. Eat dinner at Sandiago's located at the base of the tram, or enjoy your dinner at High Finance at the top.
