About Tina Gibson

I am a history teacher. I teach 6th and 7th graders at a local private school. I have three grown sons... my youngest, who is 27, just left to start a PhD program in Colorado.

I have played a major role in the renovation of this home... from tearing down walls of the old galley kitchen to sheet-rocking, painting, and installing the floor. I like to see how an older home can be transformed into 'new' again.

Tina Gibson purchased this house in 1995

Why Tina Gibson chose Albuquerque

This home is located in a quiet, well established neighborhood. It is close to major streets which lead to the interstate, Albuquerque's west side, and east towards the tram.

Very clean and good location

  • 5 of 5

The house was very nicely updated and very clean. Great backyard, good location and easy to find. Owner was readily available and had all the house information all together for you on the counter when you walk in.

Beautiful Home with Great Location

  • 4 of 5

A very nice house with everything you need. Was somewhat disappointed couldn't use gas fireplace as gas wasn't turned on and tank was empty for gas grill. Enjoyed the patio and back yard. All in all I would definitely stay there again. Everything went smoothly.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words about my home and your stay. I would love to have you stay there again. I do apologize that the fireplace had been turned off. I did go and check the propane tank for the grill and it was working. For safety reasons, we turn off the propane between guests. I also keep a full propane tank in the garage. Thank you for bringing these things to my attention. I will be sure to make note of them for my future guests.

Nice home in northern albuquerque

  • 5 of 5

I wish I could say this property is below par so others will stay away, but that would be a lie! I stayed there with my adult siblings for a weekend to see our mother and it was perfect for the 4 of us. Tina has done a nice job making it a warm home away from home. I plan on staying there again.

Top-notch bed, beautiful yard, great location!

  • 5 of 5

The owner was responsive before our arrival and totally laid back once we were there = what more could you want?! Great location close to I-25, I-40, and Paseo del Norte. A couple blocks from a Wal-greens, Trader Joes, and Albertson's. Really beautiful home with a great backyard. One evening we grilled steaks and enjoyed the wonderful weather. I'd highly recommend this rental! Feels like a home!
