You will need a truck or SUV to stay here. My car bottomed out in the large potholes on the gravel road. The cabin is very far from town, way out in the woods. When we got there the back porch lights were burned out. We had to take other bulbs in the house and put them outside. The shower and tub were clogged. The toilet in the master bedroom smells really bad, needs some work. We won't stay here again, but someone who wants to be way out in the woods might like it.
From the first conversation with Aimee, the home owner, I knew that I made the right choice. Aimee answered all of my questions and kept in touch before, during and after my stay. The cabin was perfect for both entertaining and relaxing. Everything is well maintained and the view is incredible. The property is nestled in a great subdivision, you had seclusion and privacy but the security of other home owners near by. Defiantly would stay there again. Valerie
This was the first trip to the mountains for my family as part of a family reunion. The cabin was really great and the view from the back porch was beautiful. Inside is decorated very well and our family of 5 had plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. During our stay we horse-backed nearby, hiked, took the scenic train ride and tubed down the river. We had a wonderful stay and will come back if we have the opportunity. Thank you!
Me and my wife came here for a quick getaway after our wedding. It was exactly what we needed. The cabin was great and the view was awesome. We will be back.
Upon arrival everything was looking great. That evening we went to grill some steaks and found out that there was no propane so we ended up cooking on the stove. Pots and pans where dirty from previous guest, so I had to wash them before dinner. After we ate we wanted to jump on the hot tub and heat pump wasn't working. Contacted Aimee and she had a tech the next morning. Tech said to leave tub running for a while. After 3 hrs I checked and water was still cold. I gave up on the hot tub. When we got home I noticed that my kids had bites on their body. I think there is a Bed Bug situation. It takes 10 days to get your deposit back! Other than that the place is beautiful.
My family had a wonderful time at the cabin enjoying being away from the city. We found everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as could be. The mountain views were breathtaking.
Blue Ridge Lake is only 7 miles down the mountain where you can swim, fish, rent boats or jet skis. Toccoa or Ocoee water rafting, tubing, and zip-lining is 10-20 minutes away (slow or aggressive rides), The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway Train Ride is in the heart of Blue Ridge, Apple Pick-in. Enjoy going to the Drive-In Movie Theater or enjoy a nice Theater Play performed by Blue Ridge members. Multiple festivals and concerts ALL year round. Conveniently located Walmart at the bottom of the mountain.

HIKING AND WATERFALL FROM CABIN!!!
To the hiking trails from the cabin go down Mangum Trailand go left at the bottom of the hill and than you will see a sign (Mt Piscah) and the trails are to the left, follow the trails to the left (Dirt mound due to keep 4 wheelers out-go around it) and you will come to a dirt road, turn right and than you will come to a river with a tree fallen over it and the waterfall hiking trail is before the fallen tree to the right. You will hear the cascading water-falls and can follow them for an hour.
