This apartment is in a great location. A 15 minutes walk from the Woodley/National Zoo metro station in one direction and 15 minutes walk to DuPont Circle in another direction. The bus stop is also across the street. We are located on the edge of Adams Morgan and DuPont Circle, right in the middle of numerous restaurants , shops and exciting night clubs. There is a great variety of shopping options within walking distance, boutiques, small local stores and arts and craft shops.
The downtown sightseeing is just a few minutes away on the metro of about 15 minutes walk (we are about 1 mile from the White House and the National Mall). There are number of bus lines in the area, Metro just a few minutes away and we are walking distance to number of sites.

The redhead next to me is my wife Ana.
We have 2 daughters who are grown and are on their own ( not really, if you are a parent you know) and a 14 pound Schnoodle ( he thinks he is a giant). We have been living in the DC metro area for about 36 years and absolutely love it. Washington DC is a beautiful city, it really is and for people coming here to spend their vacations or attend conferences, weddings, funerals (The Arlington Cemetery), graduations, sight seeing, festivals etc. etc. there isn't any city that offers so much.
I manage the properties and Ana tells me what to do (!!!) We are a great team and enjoy doing what we do.

This is a great apartment in the middle of action but away from the crowd. It has its own unique character and has very up-beat atmosphere. We have has singles staying here and families of 5. mostly two adults and 2 or 3 kids. It is close to the transportation, the bus and the metro and of course the Zoo. We think it brings a great value.

Apartment was clean and well stocked. It slept 3 comfortably. Kitchen and bathroom were ideal for a basement apartment. Close to restaurants, bars, shops, banks, etc. in Adams Morgan section. Less than mile from Metro stop. Highly recommend.
Perfect place for my family when visiting DC! Only a mile bike ride to the National Mall, amazing restaurants one block away, groceries within 2 blocks.
The owners were quick to respond to questions and were very helpful!
The only downside was that my husband is 6'1" and the ceiling joists are low in a basement condo. A few bumps on his head.
We will definitely visit again though!
My girlfriend and I stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The location was absolutely perfect of us (27 years of age). The two closest metro stations are about a 20-minute walk which we preferred over busing to the metro. This provided us with great means to metro freely to our destinations for sight seeing. Adams Morgan is a nice neighborhood and the rental is extremely close to restaurants, bars, and cafes.
The rental itself was in good shape. It was clean upon arrival. It's fully functional with a nice little kitchen and washer/dryer. The bed was comfortable and plenty big for 2 people. The bathroom was in good shape.
-My only suggestion would be to provide a fan to help with air circulation especially during the muggy summers in Washington D.C. Especially with this being a basement apartment which easily collects moisture from humidity.
-From a cosmetic stand-point, the apartment could use a little touch-up paint work.
Allen was extremely easy to contact via cell phone and answered any and all questions very promptly. It was great!!

This property was perfect for my husband, teenage daughter, and myself. We spent most of our time in the city touring, so the apartment had just what we needed: kitchen for cooking breakfast, living area to relax, bed & fouton to sleep. The walk to the subway was a little far, but it had nice scenery and in a great active area. In the evenings, we were a bit tired for the walk, but the hustle and bustle around us from the cafes' and restaurants kept us fresh. We stopped to dine out on several occasions. The area had so much character!! The downside was trying to find parking when we had to leave and return to the DC area. Usually, we parked two blocks away. This would not prevent us from returning to this apartment or area. The apartment was clean and well kept. We had a great time!
The property owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The property is close to amenities within walking distance and it was quiet at night. It could have been cleaner, needs a new coat of paint and some minor repairs, and the decor is rather strange, but priced well for a long stay. Toilet was slow and needed work. This basement apartment wasn't easy to get down to if you have any physical limitations--steep steps down and low overhanging doorway. But I felt safe there.
