The Owner purchased this condo in 2010
Easy commute from the Bay Area and this location allows us to enjoy all the beauty of the outdoors without the crowds and commute to Tahoe.
Well Appointed, good facilities, and close to slopes and Bear Valley Inn.
Spacious condo with nice furniture and full kitchen.
Somehow the leather ottoman in the photos does the condo no justice. It's in excellent condition with a well appointed kitchen and state of the art entertainment system. My wife and I met my parents at the condo for a weekend of cross country skiing. There was a covered space below where my parents parked. I parked out front - no issues. The owner caught the flu and as a result we had some challenges reaching him initially with a couple of questions - but he was apologetic and remedied our small issue. I highly recommend the condo and its owner.
Newer, beautifully outfitted condo in a self contained building with underground (ie, no snow issues!) parking. Owners are easy to work with and have done a great job making sure everything is here, including a well outfitted kitchen, paper goods, and even hotel style bath amenities. We will definitely stay here again!
We had such a wonderful time at this condo! The pictures were very accurate - the condo is beautiful. The furnishings were comfortable and clean. I love the location - walk to the ski shuttle, walk to the lodge for dinner (the pizza place is great). Underground parking is such a plus in the snow. The owner has some DVDs available; my son was happy to watch a movie while the grown ups had a glass of wine. The kitchen was totally usable. We had a great snowball fight right out the back of the condo. Much lighter and brighter than the older condos in Bear Valley. Highly recommended!
This condo is great. Well decorated, clean, and conveniently located. Owner is delightful to work with. Location is perfect -- easy to get to the ski mountain. Modern applicances a real plus! Good heat and hot water, and comfortable beds!
This is a wonderful VRBO rental (and we've stayed in over a dozen). The photos do not to the layout justice. The upstairs master is huge. The upstairs bunk bed room has a full bottom bunk and two more singles, so can accomodate 4 and also has a private bathroom - so with the downstairs bedroom this makes a perfect rental for two families. The unit is well stocked. the linens are nice than many VRBO properties and the kitchen has a wide array of cooking supplies. I love this bear valley location. It has a drive-in garage and is across the street from the lodge/market in case you want to eat at the bar or grab some small essentials. The shuttle bus to the ski mountain picks up around the corner. We've rented in this condo complex twice and think it's perfect for renters.
