During your stay you may choose to enjoy; a dip in the hot-tub, a warm fire in the indoor stone fireplace, a hike in our private wooded lot, or making s’ mores in our outdoor fire pit. Perhaps you would enjoy nature’s quietude while fishing, tubing, swimming, working out, playing tennis, or hanging with your four legged companion. It’s all at your fingertips!!
These are my dogs Bella and Greta. I bought the cabin in 2012 thinking we would have our weekends to relax in the mountains. Unfortunately, we do not have enough free time to visit and thought we would share it with others.
Sabrina purchased this cabin in 2012
We looked at many properties in Coosawattee but finally stumbled upon this one by accident. We just knew that this cabin was going to be our mountain home away from home.
They main attraction to this cabin besides all of the amenities on the property is the rolling creek that flows down the middle of our property. It is quite tranquil and mesmerizing to be sitting on the porch, on the deck or by the fire listening to the sound of the current.
Really cute little cabin with all the amenities you could need. Love the screened in back porch and how the entire porch is enclosed in the side and back to prevent dogs from escaping! Enjoyed hearing the bubbling creek in the back and watching the deer from the kitchen table. Really liked the cabin.
Relaxing, peaceful, beautiful and amazing. Just what we needed. The hottub was great after a day of hiking and shopping. We saw so much wildlife. We felt truely blessed to be able to stay here at this great cabin. Thank you.
We came up for our Fall Break and brought our little puppy. The property was very clean, cozy, and private. It offered everything we needed plus more! The stream, firepit, and hot tub were perfect in the evenings.
Very nice and clean will recommend to others great area and great owner
Seen deer every day evening and mornings. The creek was so peaceful the hot tub was amazing, we left one day that was on Wednesday and that day went by so fast. I love this cabin and I pray to go back again this year but if not for sure will be a yearly visit. I had just begin several weeks ago on Le-Vel Brand (thrive) these are all natural vitamins, minerals and plant extracts, this vacation was a refreshing and a eye opener first one in many years that I didn't sleep the vacation away. I was up no later than 7 each morning out watching for the deer and up till after 10 just relaxing and enjoying the sound of the river and the crickets.
The cabin was very well maintain, clean no issue at all the entire stay. The cabin sits in an area total blocked from the road, neighbors so it's very private and nature all around you it evens has a cabin for your 4 legged fur baby if you need.
If your looking for a quite out of the way but close enough to get things you need this is a positive place to visit and you won't be disappointed at anything the pictures you seen is the exact thing you will find and the creek and the wild life is amazing we even saw a white crane on Tuesday but not a day went by that we didn't see several deer on the opposite side of the creek from the cabin.
Thank you to Sabrina for sharing your wonderful piece of heaven, I feel in love so much the one across the road was for sale even though at this time we can't afford it I had to look the area is great.
My daughters and I enjoyed our stay at Lemmon Drop Cabin. The weather was beautiful with very low to no humidity and it was a really nice reprieve from the sweltering Florida humidity and high temps. What we liked most was the peaceful setting of the woods behind the cabin and the sounds of the babbling brook that runs alongside the property and the relaxing hot tub on the back deck. We spotted a lot of deer families just about everywhere in the community each time we went outside and took a drive throughout the resort. The other feature my daughters enjoyed was the fire pit in the back yard where they roasted marshmallows and made smores each evening. Our dogs enjoyed playing in the brook too and it was a big enough area and very private so they had plenty of space to play and exercise. The cabin is very clean and decorated nicely with a modern well stocked kitchen and everything worked. We had no issues with the cabin itself and we had no issues with the internet once we were logged in.
We opted to pay the additional fees for the use of the other community amenities at the recreation center. We loved the indoor pool and the fitness center and my daughters enjoyed the game room as well. It is a nice option to have if you are traveling with children or teenagers.
Negatives: I no longer have a Netflix account so that was not an option for us, however I do have a Hulu account so I had to use my own account info to log in. Just remember to remove your account information before you leave the cabin.
The driveway is situated off of steep winding down turns from the main road where most cars drive rather fast coming down the mountain and the driveway is on a very steep incline and with gravel. This makes it challenging to get out onto the main road but once you get used to it, it isn't too horrible, just be extra cautious.
Overall this was a very nice community and we had a 'no-hassel, pleasant experience and Sabrina was very quick to respond to my inquiries prior to our arrival. Directions and instructions were very helpful. If you have a small family and travel with furry friends I highly recommend this cabin.
