Walk out the resort door, and you're less than a minutes' walk from the beautiful sands of Madeira Beach. The Gulf of Mexico is warm and calm, and is the perfect spot for a family to enjoy or for just relaxing and soaking in the sun. Just a few minutes down the beach, you can walk over to John's Pass Village, with dozens of shops, restaurants, and activities.
The condo is well kept and very clean. Lots of room and everything we needed for our stay was there. The unit is on the 5th floor of a 6 floor building. It is on the far end of the building and not directly in front of the water. The balcony is recessed so there is privacy when sitting out there. Short 5 minute walk to Johns Pass where there are many shops, restaurants and bars. Also fishing off the pier and watercraft rental. The beach is a 2 minute walk just across the street. Plenty to see and do within walking distance. We will book this place again.
Spent a week on the beach at this fantastic condo. The view from the balcony was wonderful. Spent a lot of time watching the wildlife and the ships come and go. Plenty of space for all. Great location with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would rent again.
We had the best time! Our daughters, 17 & 14, each brought a friend and at the end of the trip they asked if we could do it again next year. With teenagers, that is a HUGE compliment! The condo was great. The pictures are spot on. The five minute walk to John's Pass and the Beach were great. Only complaint (but not a big enough issue that we wouldn't stay here again) is the water pressure in the master bath is horrible and the a/c in the master bedroom is weak. We will be booking this one again!
I was trying to find an affordable place, nearest to All Seasons Resort Timeshare, where my cousin was staying... The other challenge, making last minute booking on JULY4, looking for a shower stall, for my elderly 87 year old aunt, King size bed for us and sofa sleeper for my son! I thought for sure, I would over look something! But instead, we were pleasantly surprised, to find the shower stall, not in the master bedroom but by the guest room. So my aunt had that part of house, all to herself! While we (my husband and son) used the master bedroom's tub/shower bathroom. They had sufficient towels, sheets, pillows, even sufficient toilet paper and kitchen supplies (NO coffee filters, don't forget it), for our short stay of 3 nights. I found unit, VERY tastefully comfortably furnished and decorated with an updated look!
I usually make shakes and found a BLENDER, which sometimes units don't have, along with all the other small details: beach towels, LOW beach chairs, games, a puzzle (though we couldn't use any, bringing our own) but sure to making, anybody's else's stay, a comfortable one... OH, I forgot my hair dryer but no worries, they had one under bathroom sink!
We would take my aunt in her wheelchair on a short 3 min walk to All Seasons, never having to use our car to go out anywhere, until departure! Being everything was within walking distance! The beach was just a short stroll across the street!
As for the negatives, I didn't feel it should affect the 5 star rating but needs to be disclosed: the rugs did have stains and bottom of our bathroom curtain was stained. The dryer, I had to run it a couple of times because it did not dry the clothes on first round. And to our dismay, when getting out of elevator or entering, besides having a No Smoking sign posted inside, there was a strong cigarette smell, until one day we went to pool to just wash off the sand from our feet, we saw "maintenance man" or whoever in charge of checking pool gate door was smoking! We realized, he must be the one smoking by elevators and when elevator doors open, the smell must go in and stays lingering, in exit areas... we are highly chemical and perfume sensitive, allergic people and found ourselves rushing to get out of the exit areas because of the heavy smoking residual smells left behind... No smells were in unit =)
All in all, we were a stroll away from salt water (BEACH), so we enjoyed it with a "grain of salt"! =)
What a place, what a location.
As a family of 4( all adults) the apartment & location was ideal.
The gulf coast did not disappoint. The sea was as warm as a bath, while the sand was white as snow.
Only a five minute walk to shops, bars & Restaurants. There is something for everyone.
Would recommend this place to anyone
The marine life is a free treat for all, nightly sightings of Dolphins & manatees in the local waterfront.
Very enjoyable weekly stay. Ideal location close to John's Pass and 1 block off free public beach access. Beach location was good, very quiet so folks could spread out. Condo is very spacious for familes, 2nd bedroom is a must and has a private balcony, all overlooking the intercoastal bay (away from busy street side of building). Week went by too fast.
