Why Linda chose Tennessee

My wife and I purchased this cabin because of its great location. Our property backs up to the Cherokee National Forest and provides great privacy. we enjoy driving through the mountains and fishing on the lake. My wife's sister recently visited and they had the time of their lives! They went horseback riding, antiquing and shopping just to name a few activities. So as you can tell the activities are many and varied. This is a great recreational area w/ many outdooor activities also.

What makes this cabin unique

While staying at Lainie's Lodge you cannot see a house in sight. The cabin has been placed in center of property w/ a long driveway! You have a rocking chair front porch and also a back deck. All your firewood will be provided for the wood burning fireplace and the outdoor fire pit.

A Secluded Gem

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in over 13 cabins in the Ocoee region. This one has by far the best interior furnishing of anywhere we have stayed. It is decorated beautifully and has the feel of an upscale "lodge". Every last detail was taken care of thoughtfully and it was really clean!!!!. We locked ourselves out of the cabin once and the caretaker and owners were both incredibly accommodating and nice. The problem was solved in minutes. The front and back porches are beautiful and the location couldn't be better. While you are in somewhat of a neighborhood by the time you get back to the house you feel very secluded. As a side note if you are a runner or cyclist you can run/bike right from the lodge on a beautiful forest service road with no traffic. That was an unexpected treat.

I can't imagine how anyone could be disappointed with this listing. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks for sharing your Tennessee home with us - We loved it!

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful cabin. it was perfectly located to every place we wanted to visit and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a great time whitewater rafting at Cherokee river rafting, had fun at Zipline adventure park and Ruby falls. We also enjoyed plenty of great places to eat. A couple of nights we relaxed by a fire in the fire pit at the cabin. I highly recommend this cabin.

Awesome property!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for sharing your house with us! It is the cutest!!! It is clean, well appointed, and filled with the amenities everyone needs to make a whitewater rafting vacation awesome! Last but not least, the property is close to everything one might need... eateries, groceries, rafting companies. We had a fabulous time, and the kids will be bragging about this trip for years to come.

Wonderful stay at Lanie's Lodge!

  • 5 of 5

We highly recommend a stay at Lanie's Lodge! It was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and wonderfully cozy. We enjoyed close proximity to rafting, hiking, grocery and Rock City (1 hour away) while still being out in the mountains. We highly recommend a printed copy of directions as there was no cellular coverage and we could not use our phones to direct us. The neighbor's dog was a sweet surprise to our stay -the kids couldn't wait for his daily visits!

Love, love, love this cabin!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic vacation and greatly enjoyed every moment that we spent at the cabin. We had everything we needed to prepare food, do laundry, and kick back and relax. The cabin is beautiful and secluded while being close enough to the river, marina, and hiking trails to make day trips and store runs very convenient. We were so pleased with Laine's Lodge and the surrounding area. A would strongly recommend the White Water Rafting offered by Quest expeditions and Dam Diner and Deli. We will definitely be back! Thanks Linda for the amazing accommodations.
