The kitchen is newly stocked with a 36" gas range/oven combo and a convection microwave. There is a large stone island and serving bar with bar stools to gather and make a meal. The pantry is an actual room with an additional fridge, so you won't have to worry about having enough space for storing food/drinks. The large dining table seats 10 with a powder bath nearby. This is all part of the "great room" for family gatherings. There is a comfortable reading nook for a quiet moment. 4 oversized rocking chairs on the porch to oversee the city views and enjoy the sea breeze. The decor is a mix of old Victorian, Coastal, with Modern Comforts (probably best described by the pictures). The ocean is a few blocks away in two different directions from the house. The famous Galveston strand is walking distance from another direction which boasts coastal view restaurants, shopping, ice cream / candy shops, and popular tourist activities. Please check to see if the Old Opera House has anything playing you would enjoy, it is a beautiful experience. Large grass yard for cooking out. Golf carts are available for delivery. There is plenty of free parking both in the front and the back of the house, accessed via the ally.
