Guests here appreciate a more modern aesthetic, but also are comfortable in the cozy quarters of 450 sq. ft. Whether for use as a honeymoon apartment, 'Sapphire Vista' will be a refreshingly affordable and chic take on the Sierra's most dazzling destination, Lake Tahoe.

This is a NON SMOKING unit.
SECURITY DEPOSIT - No fee will be charged to you if there is no damage done to the studio or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear, including, but not limited to, the following:
• No charges are incurred by the owner due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
• All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in plastic/wastebaskets, and soiled dishes are cleaned.
• All keys are left either on the kitchen table and unit is left locked, or the key is in the door to the unit.
• All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
• No linens are lost or damaged.
• No personal property of the owner is lost or damaged.
• NO early check-in or late checkout. FLEXIBLE
• No smoking is detected inside the house.
• The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by My Community.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY –The maximum number of guests is limited to three (3) persons, except by permission of the owner.
MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a two (2) night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than two weekend days, the guest will be charged the two-night rate.
INCLUSIVE FEES – NO HOUSEKEEPING FEE - Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. Since we do not charge a cleaning fee, we really appreciate it if you leave the studio in the condition in which you found it. Thank you in advance!
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available at an additional rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. Upon your departure, we request that you strip the beds and place any used linens and towels in the bathtub.
WATER AND SEPTIC – Please DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. If it is found that anything other than toilet paper has been flushed and it clogs the system, you could be charged damages of up to two hundred dollars ($200).
PETS - No pets are allowed, unless disclosed in advance and approved by the owner. If a pet is allowed, please bring a crate and/or pet bed to use while your pet is in the studio.
STORM POLICY – No refunds will be given for storms.
TRAVEL INSURANCE – We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to (URL HIDDEN) for details and to purchase.
Our cabin is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or while using its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

Owners of the property, husband wife, occupy a large 'Old Tahoe' home on same lot as the rental apartment, but assure guests of complete privacy from the main home. As a painter and actor couple, they take deep sustained inspiration from the great Lake Tahoe and are happy to share this special property that has been in the family for 83 years.

In 1927, the grandparents of the husband purchased 4 lake front lots and built a large summer home on the 2 main lots. Therefore privacy is afforded the main house and the rental apartment because of the vacant lot on one side of the buildings.

Our time spent at Tahoe Studio was delightful. The location, grounds, views, and amenities were lovely. The pier, beach, vistas spectacular.
The Studio is beautiful and creatively designed to accommodate two or three people. We had a special time because our two little grandsons loved it, especially sleeping on the floor in sleeping bags. Hide and Seek was perfect; walks on the beach lovely. Relaxing on the pier was perfect.
Our hosts, the Brays, were generous and helpful. I have recommended Tahoe Studio to my friends and hope they visit and enjoy it as much as we did. We plan to return as soon as we can!
Beautiful cosy condo where my 3 year old son enjoyed playing with the owners grandchildrens toys in the yard. We also had private access to Tahoe lake. Sweet memories and will definitely recommend to all my friends and family.
Such a quiet, relaxing place! The apartment has more of a private feeling than we expected, the garden areas are perfect, and the owners made us feel very welcome. We loved the easy loop walk through the park and along the beach.
We enjoyed our two night stay in Darlene's upstairs studio on Terrace Lake Drive. The apt is small but had all the amenities we needed, including reading lights on both sides of the very comfortable q. bed, a complete kitchenette, atttractive decor, privacy and quiet. There were many obviously thoughtful touches, there was no objection to our dog and - best of all- an unsurpassable lake view from the lawn in front of owner's home. I'm short, it is a charming little place!

Darlene and Warren are very sweet and their studio apartment is perfect for a nice Tahoe Getaway! We loved bringing our doggies with us to explore the lake.
The location is very convenient to many amenities and the studio was very clean and cozy. We hope to visit again soon.
The other reviews are right, this place is magical! The location is perfect. We stayed with our baby and it was so great to be able to explore during the day and come back and relax right on the water again in the evening. Can't wait to return!
