This vacation rental is awesome very secluded and relaxing. Kevin is great to work with as well

That's vacation rental is awesome very secluded and relaxing. Kevin is great to work with as well. We have four young children ranging from 3 to 10 and this was perfect. There was even an additional room that we didn't even use. Very convenient to get to any of the parks for Disney. The wooded area behind the pool makes it very private for the family. I would definitely go through Kevin and stay at this place again

Excellent accommodation with support and good contact from pleasant owners. Everything provided that could be expected for a great holiday and clear guidance about the rental and surrounding area. Home and pool in excellent condition and would strongly recommend. Many thanks Kevin.

Exceed expectations!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you very much Mr. Kevin for making this trip so easy and perfect. You have a beautiful home, very spacious with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. I love the community, very quiet from the usual noise of the city, but close enough to one of the main highways (192) which was full of restaurants, drugstores, grocery stores, and easy access to every attraction. We were able to relax in the pool and stay in the house more than we normally do, just because we felt so at home. The house was very clean, and it was well equipped. Mr. Kevin responded every question and addressed every concerned in a promptly manner, one of the most important things for me when renting a house. We'll definitely rent from you again.

Beautiful home, if you plan to eat each meal out

  • 3 of 5

The property was as pictured on the website. The rooms were very spacious, clean and well decorated. The pool and jacuzzi were a big hit with the family. (only problem with the pool; on the last day of our visit we had an unwelcome visitor in the form of a small black snake deciding to take a swim). The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils.

This is a semi-annual gathering for myself, parent, siblings and spouses. We mainly cook, eat and enjoy each others company. The first night there, we discover that only one burner on the stove worked properly. We called the management team for this property that night and left a message concerning the problem. We had not heard from them by 10:00 a.m the next morning (Made cooking breakfast for 9 adults difficult to say the least.), I called again and got one of the managers and explained the problems. She initially was very short and not very courteous at all. We were disconnected, which possibly gave her more time to think about this and she called back and stated someone would be over to take care of the problems. He arrived shortly after 6:00 pm that evening. Needless to say preparing lunch and dinner was a task with this one burner. He came in open the stove top up and jiggled the burner wires underneath. All four burners started to work, but before he could leave two went out again. This was the case for the remainder of our visit. Never knowing how many would work. I did not feel comfortable, especially with a strange piece of appliance to go under the stove top and bother with the electrical wires, nor do I think any renter should have to do this. Definitely a safety issue. The last detail, the property manager after his attempt to repair the stove, on his way out the door, he replied rather flip, "That he had repaired the stove, but he could not cook for us" Well, nor could we!

Owner's Response: Hello Rhudine, I apologize for the difficulty you had with the stove top and the attitude you received from our property manager(s). Our cleaners often will remove the stove top burners in order to clean the area under the burners. Unfortunately they did not get a good connection when hooked up. As a precaution, we have have replaced the connectors and all 4 burners on the stove top so this doesn't happen again. I have spoken with my property managers and have asked them to please be more courteous and understanding of our guests needs. A snake in the pool was not a welcome sight I have to agree! This does occasionally happen. It is the nature of Florida. Thank you for you comments. We have been in this business for 13 years and had many Great reviews. Again I apologize for this. Thank you. Kevin Wilkes (owner)

Large comfortable family home

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here in early April 2016. It was a very big and spacious home. Clean and tidy and with most things you would like to find in a rental. Bonus was that each bedroom had a TV and dvd player and there was a book of DVDs to choose from. This was great as our littlest traveler (age3) had some jet lag. So we could put a movie on in the morning in her room and go back to bed for awhile.

There was more than enough room for our group and this would be a great rental for extended families or multiple families traveling together.

As we were there in April we decided to opt-in for pool heating. Which was a great decision. Even with day temperatures reaching the 80s, the pool might have been too cool without the heating. The rental has excellent security measures in place to keep your belongings safe while you are away or yourself safe while inside.

The owner even had a shortcut to get into the Disney properties that was very handy. The location is close to loads of restaurants and shopping.

I only have 2 points for consideration when deciding if this is the place for you. 1. How cold do you like your home to be? The minimum temperature you can set the thermostat is 70. It is a big house and would take awhile to cool down. If you like you place supercold, this might not be the best house for you. 2. You only get a beginner set of house staples. So there is a good chance you may need to buy toilet paper/paper towels/laundry soap/dish soap/ dishwasher detergent. This is neither a plus or negative. Just something to keep in mind depending on how much time you may actually spend in the house and whether you want to make a stop at a store.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We appreciate your comments and suggestions. Central Air Conditioner Manufactures recommend for Florida Homes we limit the lowest temperature allowed to be set is 70 degrees. Any temperatures lower than this can cause the unit to FREEZE UP and fail. Central air conditioning units not only cool the house but also draw out the humidity which can be a big demand in Florida homes. Most Floridians set their thermostats to no less than 75 because they are accustomed to the climate, something our Northern Europe and North American guests might take some time getting accustomed to. We want our guests to be comfortable 100% of the time. An air conditioner failure could cause an uncomfortable condition for as many as 3 days until repairs can be made. We limit the thermostat setting for your best interest in mind. It is standard and customary in the Orlando Area Vacation Home Community to supply the homes with at least a minimum of 1 roll of paper for each bathroom. We supply a bar of soap to each sink and we supply kitchen trash bags for the entire stay. Beyond that, it is the responsibility of the guest to supply the soap and paper products they might need. The home is defined as “self service”, meaning, we do not have daily maid service such as you would receive by staying in a hotel. Our home is professionally cleaned after each guest departure and they leave the minimum paper products required. Most of the time any cleaning or paper products left behind by the previous guest are retained for the next guest to use. The house is supplied with all linens, bath towels, hand towels, kitchen towels and wash rags for 12 guests. The house has a nice washer and dryer set which can be used for cleaning these items should it be required but again it is “self service” up until the guests departure day at which time our cleaners come in and launder all of these items for the next guest arrival. We also supply the home with a complete set of cooking items and the necessary place settings for 12 guests. These items are also “self service” and guests are supplied a dish washer for cleaning these items. It is the guests responsibility to supply the dish soap and washer soaps during their stay. Sometimes previous guests will leave these items behind for the next guest. They are not to be removed by the cleaners. Thank you again for your nice comments and suggestions.
