It's a great time to be in Estes with its warm days and cool nights. Spring has arrived and foliage is greening up and the aspen and getting ready to leaf out. Soon it will be the summer days where the downtown flowers are at their peak, fairs, farmer's markets, and all sorts of events abound. The sound of the river out your door, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the brilliant blue skies will make this a vacation to remember. Walk out your condo door, head East on the Riverwalk, and enjoy Lake Estes, the Marina, the 9-hole golf course, and the Big Thompson River. Or head West on the Riverwalk to restaurants serving delicious food, coffee shops where you can sit outside and watch the world, or boutique stores and art galleries selling unique items. Of course, you might just want to relax on one of your balconies and do nothing! Whatever you do, we know you'll make your vacation memorable.
This newer property includes a master bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with a king and an adjoining area with a queen bed, a media room with a queen bed, and 2.25 baths. With four king and/or queen size beds it is perfect for couples or families.
We have been in Estes Park for 36 years and know and love this town. Our daughters were born and raised in Estes Park. We have both retired from our first careers in Estes and in 1998 moved on to buy the BigHorn Restaurant. In September of 2013, we sold the restaurant to a wonderful local couple. Now, we are officially retired and truly enjoying the place where we live.
Sid or Laura Brown purchased this condo in 2012
This property is a wonderful location with its view of the river and the convenience of downtown. Plus, it is such a surprising amount of space (1800 square feet) when you walk up the steps into the kitchen. We fell in love with it.
We love the openness of this condo and its southern exposure. We also think the location is premier and the construction is top quality.
The Estes River Walk condo worked out perfectly for us as it is in a great location in the hear of Estes. Very spacious with more than enough room for our extended family of 7 adults and 1 infant. We sat on the balcony each morning, drank our coffee and listened to the river right below us. The kitchen and dining areas were nice with room for everyone at the table. Bedrooms were large and comfortable.
We were in Estes Park for a Memorial Day wedding at the Della Terra venue - a ten minute drive west. We were also just ten minutes from the entrance to RMNP. From the condo, we walked to dinner several nights as everything is close by.
Laura was great to work with – very accommodating and responsive to every question we had. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Estes.
We came to Estes to enjoy fall in RMNP. The location of the condo is great. Right above Kind Coffee. After a day of hiking in the park, we were able to come back and park and not have to drive again for dinner or breakfast. Restaurants and shops of Estes all within walking distance. The condo was very spacious and well equipped. A great place to return to and recharge for the next day. Would recommend.
Spacious bedrooms, functional space, and beautiful view close to everything we needed or wanted in Estes Park. A short walk around from parking spaces and up steps so best to pack light. We have a toddler and a baby but the layout was easy to sleep both of them in separate spaces while having easy access to them. It was a little tough on our parents to get up and down the steps, but no complaints from them.
I've been vacationing in Estes Park for many years, both as a kid and now as an adult. This was hands down my favorite visit, mostly due to this condo. It is beautifully updated and clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics we needed, the beds were comfortable (there was even a pack n play that we used), lots of extra linens, fans, trash bags, etc. The balconies were amazing and it is literally right by the river. We had the windows (and sometimes the balcony doors) open in the evenings, and you got a nice breeze and could hear only the river. The shop owners below and the condo owner have hummingbird feeders and the hummingbirds were everywhere.
I walked with my two toddlers a couple of blocks along the river walk to a playground, my two older boys went window shopping alone a lot since the main shopping area is right below (and continues many blocks further), and my older father enjoyed the satellite tv and internet access. We booked my older two boys on a fly fishing trip by just walking up to the shop that's like 3/4 of a block up. Had dinner at an amazing Mexican restaurant that's 1/2 a block up along the river walk.
Even with all the shops and activity, it was still relatively quiet in the rooms at night, but I was too tired from hiking to care either way.The shopkeepers below were very friendly. There are tables right outside the front door to the loft along the river to sit at and read the morning paper or a book in the evening.
I was worried parking would be an issue, but it wasn't. We had a parking pass given by the owners and never had a problem getting a spot even though it was incredibly busy in Estes.
This will be my first inquiry for lodging when I go back again. I completely recommend this to any families or small groups planning a trip to Estes. It is truly a way to be in nature due to the location along the riverwalk, but also to be within walking distance to shops and restaurants, and of course, easy driving distance to RMNP.
Loved the location of this condo. We were able to walk everywhere. Near great restaurants and shops. Laura and Sid were great to work with. Absolutely no issues and would stay there again if we come back to Estes Park
This was the perfect getaway for us to celebrate my husband's birthday. The condo was beautifully decorated and exceeded our expectations. The owners communicated with us throughout the process and were quick to answer any questions we had. Working with Laura was effortless and she even checked in on us during our stay. She also left several lists of activities that were going on in Estes Park during our stay. We were traveling with an infant (3 month old) and a toddler (2 years). Our toddler loved exploring this condo and had plenty of space to run around and play. The furniture in the condo was perfect for him. The couches, chairs and benches were soft and comfortable. There was a portable crib (pack and play) that was perfect for us. There were also wooden blocks for our little guy to play with. There is a children's store next store that sold games, books and other things to keep him entertained as well. The adults enjoyed drinking coffee on the balconies (it is located above a fantastic coffee shop) while watching the hummingbirds and people walking by. The condo is conveniently located near restaurants, shopping and anything else you'd like to do in Estes Park. We didn't have to move our car during our stay there, everything was within walking distance. You will not regret renting this condo. This was our first experience using VRBO and I have the feeling that this experience has created unrealistic expectations for any future trips. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
This new, unique luxury loft condo is near the heart of downtown Estes park and offers the best of mountain and downtown living. It is perched on the second floor above the charming river walk which winds its way through town, around lake Estes and to points beyond. The unit features large rooms with plenty of space yet warmed with the touches of travertine floors, maple cabinets, granite counter tops, gorgeous tile and a southern exposure. You can choose to enjoy the tranquil sounds and views of the river from your two decks, walk to lake Estes and its marina, bike along the connecting bike paths, or fly fish in the river. Or, you can easily walk to the unique shops and boutiques on main street, and the many art galleries, restaurants and bars. You are within minutes of world-class hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park and Trail Ridge Road. Come, relax and enjoy in this perfect central location.
