I am a military brat that was born in Okinawa. I grew up in Fayetteville and went to school here as well. I lived in Houston and worked in construction and real estate but I just had to come 'home' to the beautiful Ozarks and Fayetteville. I have two beautiful kids and live near by..
Patricia purchased this house in 2011
This house Is very old and it was about to be sold to a developer that wanted to destroy the old log home. I simply could not let that happen so I purchase it and renovated it to a point. I have provided a book at the property for visitors to peruse if they wish. It has a long history to tell.
Save history AND the property. It is wonderful to sit on the back deck and smell the fresh air, and watch the birds and have a yard large enough to enjoy. It is close to all activities in the area but not to close. Those of you that like to travel with you dog or cat bring them on. The big backyard is a perfect spot for them to get a little 'playtime' in, We have bags in the house to put your 'pooper Scooper' stuff in. The evenings are quiet and the air is fresh and you just have to sit back on the deck or by the fire pit and take a deep breath...you are now officially in heaven...OK, maybe a little over stated but good land, I feel that way.
Thank you for everything . We all really enjoyed it.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful old house and reading the history book provided was very interesting. It was quiet and peaceful and the kids had a blast in the pool. Everything we needed plus more was provided, all beds were very comfortable and we felt right at home! Patricia provided binders with information to go anywhere we possibly needed to go, although we only left the house to hit the grocery store which is less than a mile away. We enjoyed two nights worth of fires, with firewood Patricia provided and we cooked out on the grill that was big enough to feed our small army that was visiting us there. The kids played so hard in the pool that they passed out on their beach towels by the fire each night and slept like logs so the adults could visit awhile. The deck was big and there were plenty of chairs for us all to sit around and enjoy our food and time together. I can not say enough how pleased we were with everything! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We are already planning next years reunion!
The house was clean and comfortable, and has a neat history that was interesting to learn about!
Patricia was very quick to respond with help and answers to our questions!
We had a great time, the kids went swimming whenever they wanted, the place was very clean and the owner was very friendly and understanding, I believe she under bids herself on the nightly rate simply because as much as she offers here, you'll never find anywhere else you'll ever stay.We had 3 fires with firewood that she provided, the hot tub was awesome, it was exactly what they advertise,PEACEFUL, yes we will stay again next year, the number one seller of this place was the picture of the pool and hot tub, because when I'm looking for vacation spots that's exactly what I'm looking for thank you for having us and we hope to see you next year.
We were in Fayeteville for a baseball tournament and had an amazing/relaxing time. The house was perfect for our two families. After the tournament, we decided to spend another night, and Patricia had no problem letting us stay. We would stay here again! Kids had a blast!
