The house features an open and spacious floor plan with two living spaces (one with 55' TV, and one for reading and conversation), a dining room and kitchen in one large integrated space on the first floor. This is an ideal house for family to come together and spend time with each other, while each having space for individual interests and activities. The large granite kitchen is amazing for cooking, and has endless granite counters and cabinet space. It features a Sub Zero refrigerator and a Wolf stovetop, a built-in bar with counter stools for afternoon cocktails, and a small eat-in kitchen table, which is an easy and convenient space to feed your little ones. The kitchen has been updated with tons of cooking, grilling and baking amenities, and we have lots of spices and basics on hand so you don't have to bring or buy everything.
There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the first floor, while the master suite and bathroom takes the entire second floor. On the first floor, the guest bedroom (pictured with grey and white pillows and blanket) is nicely separated off the entrance, and has brand new and crisp bathroom with the same design coloring and materials that were used in the master bathroom pictured here. The slight separation of this bedroom makes it a peaceful and quiet room for your guest.
Two further bedrooms are located off the living room. One bedroom, the "anchor room," has two twin beds with crisp blue and white ticking bedding and yellow anchor patterned pillows. A third bedroom, the "children's room," features a standard size bunk bed (twin over twin) with fun and brightly colored Marimekko wallpaper and bedding. Please note that the bunk bed pictured here has been updated with a twin white bunk bed from Room and Board that I have not yet photographed. This room has toys and books to keep your children entertained. The anchor and children's room share a bathroom. If you don't mind the bright wallpaper, these beds are standard twins and the bunk bed is a solid steel frame that is suitable for adults.
The master bedroom takes the entire second floor, and has a queen bed, flat screen television, large ensuite bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a private and quite work area with a printer/scanner that overlooks the pool and palm trees.
It's a great house for hanging out, cooking, entertaining, relaxing and spending time together as a family.
The living room and back patio has a built-in home speaker system. There are three TVs in the house. Cable, WIFI, Apple TV (on the large TV) and a home telephone is provided.
There's a laundry room set off the kitchen that is fully stocked with sheets and towels. Beach towels are provided.
Outside we have a Heated Pool, bbq, an outdoor seating area with large shade umbrellas and poolside loungers. Each bathroom is outfitted with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and hairdryers. Just bring your toothbrush :).
Perk: This house comes with access to the Key Biscayne Beach Club. The Beach Club provides direct and easy access to the beach, so you can drive right up in your car or golf cart. It's a casual club where beach chairs, loungers, and umbrellas are provided for free, and there are outdoor showers and a food hut where you can order food and drinks. The Key Biscayne Beach Club is located right next to The Ritz Carlton beach, so you can easily walk over to The Ritz for a beachside lunch at Dune or Cantina.
The house is a short walk to the park, playground, and community center, Crandon Drive (where all the shops and restaurants are). The beach, and The Ritz Carlton are walkable but you'd rather drive due to the heat.
There is a high chair and pack and play for younger children in the house.
Key Biscayne Beach Club (private access to the beach) membership included, WiFi, Full Cable and Premium Channels and Apple TV included with 3 flat screen TVs. Home office on second floor in Master Suite with printer/copier/scanner. Outdoor pool and patio with children's guard (removable). Family friendly house (Boon baby high chair and Graco pack and play available).
The house was lovely and the toys were especially appreciated by my grandkids! We also enjoyed the beach club.
We arrived on March 10th and my husband booked the trip! So I had no info to enter the house. I called Mary who responded right away! We had many experiences of renting houses in KB. Some of the rental have no living supply at all( no toilet paper, no kitchen towel, no shampoo or lots of basic living items). I really appreciate the fact Mary well stocked all of them! ( I packed lots of shampoo and hair conditioners which is so annoying to carry so much). It's four bedroom and plenty of spaces,(some of the rental days 4 bedroom, but indeed 3, mary has two booms with double bed). The swimming pool is long and narrow which is ennough for kids to play. Somehow we couldn't switch on the pool heater. The weather is quite cold during the week we stay. We didn't bother to ask Mary. We also stay a little longer the last day and Mary was very accomandating! My husband didn't enjoy the stairs to the bedroom. He is very tall man. It's kind of in the center of the house, if you are tall you and clumsy you can punk your head. I say this out loud just in case some people have hard time. I personally think it didn't bother me at all! Enjoyed the two big sofas and dinning table very much! It's quite close to the village park for my five years old son to play. Overall, I love the experience!
Spent thanksgivng here with our family. Plenty of space very comfortable and well stocked kitchen that made cooking very easy.
Would recommend this home
We had a great time at this home in August 2016. The property was super clean and provided all amenities as advertised. AC was perfect, pool was clean, cable and Wifi working 24/7, plenty of towels and bedsheets, seamless check-in and check-out process.... everything that typically goes wrong in a vacation home rental worked out just right. On top of it, the owners accommodated to the needs of our small kids.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental. The home is beautifully decorated and we felt like we were staying in the home of dear friends, not people we did not know. This is not your typical rental property. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive to all of our needs before and during our stay. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to Miami. Thank you Mary for all that you did for us to make our stay memorable. We had a great time!
The owners could not have been more hospitable and responsive. The house is comfortable and exactly as described. And Key Biscayne is a wonderful community. Access to the Beach Club is a big plus, especially for our three small grandchildren. Thanks for a great vacation. Would definitely return.
We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house was beautiful with a lot of natural light and comfortable and great looking furniture/decor. The kitchen was very well stocked with every appliance necessary, along with lots of cupboard and counter space, making it easy and enjoyable to cook meals at the house. There were also many delicious (and family friendly) restaurants within walking distance. The living area was also beautiful and accommodating, with a large comfortable sectional sofa, and big TV with Netflix access and every channel we could hope for. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also perfect for the needs of our family of five. Lots of time was spent in the backyard pool area, especially after returning from the beach in the afternoon. The unheated pool was a little chilly at the beginning of our vacation (first week of March) but by the end of our ten day stay the water had warmed up significantly and was perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun. The beach itself was incredible and being able to access the Biscayne Beach Club through renting this house really enhanced our stay. We spent many afternoons on beach chairs and loungers (provided by the club) and enjoying the warm sand and water. Being able to visit the beach club and also the nearby beach at Bill Bags park was perfect for a family that wanted to stay close to Miami but not right on hugely crowded beaches. Staying in Key Biscayne meant everything from groceries to clothing shopping to authentic Cuban food (at the excellent Oasis Cafe) was within walking distance, something that was harder to find in downtown Miami. We had a wonderful time staying at this house and hope to be able to return.
