In terms of transportation, you have a great variety of options. If you want to quickly get to the Financial District (offices of Amazon, Gogle X, and many more), union square, your best option is take the Muni train from Castro. Muni will take you from Castro to Embarcadero in just around 10 minutes.

If you have more time to enjoy, you can take the historic F-Line street car and take in the sights along Market Street and the Embarcadero at a more leisurely pace. The F-Line can take all the way up to Pier-39 and North Beach. You can also walk / hike to Twin Peaks and relax in front of the magnificent view of San Francisco Financial District lights or the beautiful Sunset when looking towards Ocean Beach.

Moscone Center is 30mn door-to-door by public transportation. If you would like to use bike share, opt for an e-Bike so that San Francisco' hilly landscape becomes a pleasure to ride, and you're in Moscone center in about 20mn.
